I think Daryl is going to die, that wound he took in the beginning was way too telegraphed. They wouldn't have made sure to point out such a minor wound if it wasn't going to have a major impact.
Daryl dies and most of the show's fan base goes with it. I don't see him dying unless Norman Reedus wants to leave the show.

He's been in movies before too. I don't think he'll be dying unless they're ready to end the show.
Maybe he'll leave the show to the announcement that he's spending all of his time making Silent Hills with Kojima and Del Toro

He did actually just attend that thing where Kojima and Del Toro did that shared interview. It's entirely possible we're getting SOMETHING in that vein down the road, even if it's not the original franchise. That'd be a big feather in the cap of all concerned.
In the comics, he gets with Andrea. But Andrea's been dead for a few seasons and viewers disliked her anyway.
I did like how this seemed to be a filler episode where Rick and Daryl went all Dukes of Hazzard. I was expecting Waylon Jennings to provide some narration. "Now them Alexandria boys have gotten themselves into a pickle. Looks like Daryl is madder than a cat caught out in the rain."

To be fair, no one liked Andrea because she didn't get the Glasgow Smile she got in the comics that makes her stop being a complete fuck up and turn into one of the better characters. Instead, she endangers the group the entire time she was with them.
Just a PSA to anyone that watches Better Call Saul at broadcast before watching Walking Dead, AMC has been running ads during Better Call Saul that -completely- spoil the previous episode of walking dead. And I mean completely, giving beat by beat rundown of everything that happened.
Daryl and Carol are already together... it's just that their relationship is a brother/sister thing. I kind of feel like Daryl has intimacy problems (steming from his childhood of abuse) and that's the only kind of relationship he CAN have.
I just think they are two very different people, who have had very different experiences during not just their lives, but also the zombie apocalypse. The only thing that really brought them close was Carol's grief over her daughter.
But they have very different opinions of how to live in the present. I just really don't see any chemistry there anymore.
Nope. I've been wanting it to happen ever since Rick, Carl, and Michonne were together on the trip to Terminus.

You want to see awkward, we've got Abraham trying to have a conversation. I can't stand when he and Sasha converse; it sounds like a scenes in Game of Thrones where the writers don't know what to have the characters talk about between sex and killing, so they have them talk about their situation in attempt to make the theme they're discussing sound important.

When there's a point to his conversation, I love his turn of phrase. When it's the equivalent of two people discussing "what it means to be alive in this world today" and "gotta keep moving forward" it's just a lot of words for nothing.
Ohmahgoodness this episode, man. I'm so nervous for people. I know I should not expect things to unfold like the comics but I do keep expecting certain things to be right around the corner.
And with basically the whole crew being there and the plan being shaky at best I was expecting a bit of a red wedding episode.

I expected there to be a couple of build-up episodes, but NOPE. We're just doing this.
I think we only have 6 episodes left this season? Then we're getting more Fear the Walking Dead.
4 episodes left, if we're sticking with 16-episode seasons.
But I thought they'd do some build-up/planning episodes, then the finale would be storming the compound.
Of course, there's more to this than that, but we only know that because we're watching a TV show.
