[Gaming] Diablo 3 : Ser Farm-A-Lot

Of course, I wasn't being quite serious ;) I'm not a huge fan of HC, myself; my time is fairly limited and the stress of losing an investment of several to dozens or hundreds of hours due to some random crap isn't fun to me, but just....well, stressful :p I tend to play fairly conservatively and shy away from danger for my character, but Lord knows I've died a few times to unavoidable nonsense (and to avoidable stuff, too, certainly, by inattentiveness or a RL diversion). I entered a Neph Rift a while ago with an Arcane enchanted Horde camping on the exact spawn point...The screen literally hadn't finished loading before I was dead. Thanks, but no thanks :p

I would use the Jeram over the Frost Gloves for sure. I use both T&T and Jeram in softcore and Jeram and Aquila Cuirass in Hardcore.
Do you find that using a mana spender like Pirahnado leaves you vulnerable for a time due to the Cuirass not being in effect for that short time, or is it not a big deal?

Finished Champion :aaah:

OK, for Destroyer.... Malthael, sure....SBA, heck, done that before....GR50 no problem, I did 49 in 9 minutes....A TX rift in 5 minutes, kinky but doable, I've done it in 6...3 gems to 45, well, guess I'll have to get to GR55 but I can see that happen. Oh, and a conquest. Let's have a look at the oh my God are you kidding wtf are these guys smoking?!

So I tried a bit o see which might be the most doable solo. I can manage 9 Bosses in 20 minutes; most time was lost just getting there for those who don't have "set" accesses - Adria and Aranae. Some are really fast (Why even include Kulle? He takes 10 seconds); most you at least know which way to go (SBA is at the end of the bridge, the way to the Skeleton King I can pretty much dream, ...) but I don't think I can walk to Diablo, Aranae, Adria, in that time! Gems to 65 or GR75 are both.... Not gonna happen, really. Speed Demon solo probably impossible even with a complete speed build, which this isn't. Chest hunting it is, I guess. I know I've gone over 200 before - 370 is a long way off but it seems the most plausible one. Jeesh.

I would love to get a group and a voice chat set up and do the bosses in 20 minutes on T10. My chicken and three other speed builds each going out solo to find and kill them should be doable.

Can be done in a group like that or must a person be here for each one??

Wait, you don't just have to be in the party? You have to actually be present for the kill?

--Patrick
Have to be engaged, apparently. What I've seen elsewhere so far indicates you need one runner and three to kill the bosses, or two runners and two killers, to find Adria/Malthael/etc fast enough. Though, as usual, it depends on class/gear/etc, I guess. I dunno. I'll probably try to find someone to group with for the 2 minute TX rift, since apparently some classes are managing that solo

I have the 3 65 gems and the solo 75 conquests done and I am hoping to get the 3 65 gems in hardcore as well.

The boss one sounds fun and I'd like to try it. Has it been soloed?

I assume so.

I got it (last season in a PUG) quite by accident. We just had a really good rift, and we were done. It was that simple.

That one's all about the layout and the pylons. If you've got the RNG, you've got the achievement, otherwise thank you please try again.

I super chicken it, so I never have a T10 Rift that takes more than 3 minutes. Not a big deal since I don't get achievements anyways ;)

Two chickens (or three maybe) start and each go in a different direction should get the conquest.

A three minute T10 is needed to finish the seasonal journey if you have other conquests. I was in a group and got that one when we were key farming.

Man, I'm just always so afraid to change builds. I mean, I deliberately try not to exactly mimic a build I read somewhere because I dislike the feeling of having to find this one perfect item or whatever, but, you know.
I have all 6 pieces of the Helltooth set (only one Ancient amongst them, but still). Could be it'd be better than my Zuni's...But each piece separately is mostly negative in the comparison view. Heck, I have Carnevil and the DoD, and that's still a Zuni build! I have a set of ancient LoN and....Well, 7 good ancients to wear with it, and a couple less-advisable ones :p...but it could still be fun to try out. And so on. I just dislike changing playing styles all of a sudden, but they're changes you can't do slowly. And, on the other hand, they can be undone, but it's a hassle.

When did I start stressing about this game again? Maybe I should just level a second WD to try those other styles out....ugh. :p

Experimenting with Piranhados instead of GOTD....Yes, it's faster ,but ugh that cooldown. 0 is much more fun than 16. Also, GOTD is useful/easy for opening doors and crates and barrels - much faster than Haunt. And it didn't cost anything, which would've played nice with my Aquila if I ever got around to equipping it (but that'll have to wait for a different build anyway). Tried the chicken for 5 seconds (aww, you come out of chicken mode when you explode? That's not nice :p), but there as well - cooldown. Psht. Now it's very noticeable my current build doesn't actually use anything with a cooldown or a mana cost (well, Haunt technically has a cost but I can't get my mana to go down with it :p).

Also the Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac. Between those two and CDR stacking, there might as well not be a cooldown on any spender skill that normally has 12sec or less.

While hunting for Rainbow Goblins, I have found enough Menagerist Goblins to collect all the season's pets. This is awesome, but I still haven't found my cosmic wings.

I assume what is happening is that the pet the demon tries to drop is one I already have, and so the game goes, "Nevermind."

ARGH I ACCIDENTALLY SALVAGED THE SET GLOVES I WAS USING AND I DON'T HAVE A SPARE <grumble> <grumble> Back to Kadala, I guess.

To come back on what I said earlier - I know how to counteract both cooldown and mana cost, it's just that, before, I didn't have to. It's like Spirit Walk. Sure, I know how to run away from Arcane or Jailer crap, but it's more fun not to have to worry, and it frees up slots for other things.

That said, GR54 solo right now, and definitely starting to slow down. I have a full HT set with 3 ancients, maybe I should give that a whirl, but builds for HT seem to be all over the place as for other skills and items
