ha ha young people are terrible right guys
I feel like the well has been tapped.Tremors TV series in development for Amazon.
Well... ANOTHER Tremors TV series. The first one got screwed by it's executive.
Plus, Jamie Kennedy as a tough guy? Really? The guy whose career "peaked" with Malibu's Most Wanted?I feel like the well has been tapped.
Did anyone else watch Tremors 5? When the movie is reduced to having an animal piss on the main character, it's hitting Adam Sandler levels of garbage, and when you're not parodying, but straight-up ripping off scenes from Jurassic Park, it's just sad.

Here's the thing though: the first Tremors TV series managed to succeed largely by showing what effect the Graboids were having on the world and by introducing other cryptids. It managed to be REALLY funny this way. Ultimately, I don't see the show lasting for a long run, but there are things it could do to be fun.I feel like the well has been tapped.

Will make a mental note. We'll probably do less binging, more one episode a night going forward, and aim to finish before Luke Cage goes on Netflix.I want to hear your position on Cat at the end of the season.
Women can be stirring and exciting without punching someone. She'll be giving a rant/"mentor" moment, meanwhile the music is trying to be stirring and excited, like it was meant to be used for a Supergirl flight scene.
I watched it while it was airing (at least the first season), but nobody else did. I loved King Richard. You've gotta love an evil warlord who needs a hug now and then.Galavant! has turned out to be surprisingly funny. Kinda feel bad for not watching it when it was airing.
Don't lecture me on this shit; if it were on you the show would be about Superman beating up anyone who criticizes his cousin in the perspective that she's fragile and can't make her own decisions, when she clearly can, you misogynist slophole.Women can be stirring and exciting without punching someone.
You already know that not to be the case from things I've said in the past, but any time someone's rationally approached you for discussion or even agreed with you, that's less interesting than someone getting aggravated, so you get an opportunity to jerk off at photos of Harambe while whispering "rustled their jimmies, rustled their jimmies."it's really funny to watch people experience a show that isn't tailor made for their exact sensibilities and life experiences for the first time
Dave or some other mod deleted that discussion from the Captain America: Civil War thread, so most probably didn't see it.Charlie Don't Surf said:Internalized misogyny is the worst.
Hey, I'm not that far yet . Though unfortunately I already know the big twist that's coming soon, but I'm keeping it secret from my wife since I know it'll make her happy. I wish I didn't know it, but oh well. Why does Red Tornado look like he's made out of shiny burlap
The show definitely gets better. I was feeling it becoming a bit to later-season-Arrow up until episode 6 or so, but I'm enjoying it now.Hey, I'm not that far yet . We finished episode 5 last night, and it's one of those episodes where you can see why this is moving to the CW for season 2. It was a very CW-y episode. I wanna say "I wish she'd just tell James" but the look on his face at points says he already knows and his actions say he isn't interested.
In some places I was seeing episode 4 as the improvement point, but we got to the end of episode 4 and my wife said "Are you sure that's when it gets better?" So I checked around and now everyone says episode 6. So we're almost there! The show definitely gets better. I stayed spoiler-free, so Episode 7's twist was a surprise to me. And considering I was expecting someone else (because of the character's name) and got one of my favorite characters instead, I'm probably biased, but I think the show really took off from that point. A lot more story possibilities opened up.In some places I was seeing episode 4 as the improvement point, but we got to the end of episode 4 and my wife said "Are you sure that's when it gets better?" EDIT: Though again, it has been getting better each episode. It's not like it's a bunch of bad either, it's that scenes are wrestling between fun or interesting vs poor production decisions, and the ratio leans a little more towards the good stuff each episode. So I'm hoping by episode 7 that won't be a thing. Really the fight at the end of episode 2 is the best example. Most of it's good, except those couple of shots with angles that look really bad and don't serve the momentum of the scene. That's kind of a microcosm for the good vs problems of each episode, and each episode there are fewer of those bad shots.[DOUBLEPOST=1473588893,1473588654][/DOUBLEPOST]Okay, so I looked it up and the twist I know about is in episode 7. Maybe I can convince my wife to watch two episodes today, because she's not having a lot of stuff with this show. Last night we sat down to watch and her reaction was to groan and say "alright, Supergirl, get on with it ..." So if it doesn't pick up, I'm probably going to be watching it alone later.
^Accurate. From a distance he looks fine, but up close it felt like a nice cosplay. Why does Red Tornado look like he's made out of shiny burlap
As I was hoping, my wife was overjoyed . She kind of predicted it though, but she wasn't sure until just before it was revealed.I stayed spoiler-free, so Episode 7's twist was a surprise to me. Only part of the episode I didn't like was Win (Wyn? spelling?) and his nice guy bullshit. Oh boo hoo, James and Kara hugged. 1. You know she likes him, 2. they were hugging they are friends, friends do that and you'd know if you had any, and 3. even if something was going on, it's none of your fucking business. "I'm disappointed in Kara," fuck you, Win. I really hope this potato sack never becomes the love interest.I loved Human for a Day. It's a jam packed episode too.
