What killed the Simpsons?

It's an interesting theory, but it feels incomplete: did the writing staff change around then? Did they not hunt for the same level of talent once the old writers left? Was there more to it? Did it start a trend of character assassination? I'm not disagreeing with his assessment of the episode, but one bad episode isn't going to kill the momentum they had going at the time. It feels like part of an answer rather than a full explanation.

But it's funny: the same plot point that he says killed The Simpsons went on to win Mad Men about 17 Emmys and however-many other awards.

Yeah it peaked after season 8, BUUUUUUUUUUUUT-I'd say more it was a slow peak from grace, as seasons 9-15 DO have some really funny episodes-BUT-will admit later seasons aren't nearly as good as emotionally connecting

3 friends get together and concoct a funny idea to all dress as Smurfs to go out for the night. Why? Who the fuck knows. Could be a fake video for all I know. But two of them decide not to do it and to not tell the third friend.

A video seemingly aimed straight at @Celt Z - Irish people try New Jersey food

Chicken Savoy? Italian hot dog instead of sausage and peppers? Who the hell put this list together?! Where are the Fat Cats?! The saltwater taffy?!

However, I did notice the appropriate responses to pork roll, egg and cheese, which is a delicious, greasy gift from the gods.
(Also, I feel like I could make this video with family members.)

The cast, producers, everybody is from Ireland. Sometimes their research isn't 100% accurate, and I think they largely go off local stereotypes.
