Former President Trump Thread

I was pleasantly surprised by the spontaneous LA gas station party, everyone is wearing masks and social distancing.
I pointed that out to someone who made that comment, and they gave me a non-committal response.

The story of the election, in a nutshell: Maricopa County posted its latest election data online as of Friday. They had breakdowns, by precinct, for all of the various races and measures.

In the Presidential Electors race, there were a total of 2,161,685 votes cast for either Biden or Trump.

Of those 2.1 million, 160,674 were cast on Election Day. Trump handily won the vote on election day, 63.4% to 36.6%.

The only problem was, that was only 7.43% of the ballots cast. Over 2 million (2,001,011) were cast before Election Day. Of those ballots, Biden won by a 51.15% to 48.85% margin, with over a million votes (1,023,516).

So the narrative is this: early voting is what swung this election to Biden.

That's great, but I guess I'm on edge about it because Colorado is hitting exponential growth, our positivity rate is climbing every day, and too many people still don't care.

Just third shift thoughts...

It'd be next to impossible to find an impartial jury to prosecute orange boi and the trumpkins because the mere act of voting in the presidential election could be seen as prejudicial for or against them.

Straight to Gitmo with the lot of them, I guess.

I am hoping cheeto goes golfing for the rest of its term. Enough so that it makes it an even years worth over it's term.

Daryl Brooks, New Jerseys favourite sex offender, was the first person to speak about the vote fraud at the four seasons landscaping press conference. Lending credance to the theory that since the four seasons hotel is next to a school he could not attend.

Also cheeto fires defences Secretary, war with Iran imminent.

Try the scones.

Michael Cohen seems to think that Trump will leave to go to Mar-A-Lago for Christmas and never come back because doing so would be admitting defeat. It's also rumored that Melania has had divorce papers drawn up for at least 4 months. These are both just rumors and can't be substantiated, but it's what I heard.

Oh, and during my morning Zoom meeting I had a new background. Of the 5 people there, four thought it was hysterical, one guy was unusually quiet.

So as a rational, mostly level-headed guy (with the exception of the brief "fuck off everyone" period after the election), is it silly that I'm seriously concerned that this could be an actual coup still? I mean, world leaders congratulating Biden aside, with a handful of higher-up republican toadies still backing the fraud claims (McConell, Rubio, Graham and Cruz in particular), and the brainwashed masses being behind it, it feels like it could still really happen, and that scares the hell out of me. Like, the actual end of the republic scares the hell out of me.
