WELL THEN!

This is the last episode.

ever.

Forever

Until the end of time

There won't be any more, in case my meaning has not been conveyed

You might want to watch our first one for a bit of a refresher, found here:

PART ONE!

PART TWO!

I'll be honest with you, it's like 30% a look back, 70% normal and only 246%funny as opposed to our normal 589%. I'm sorry. I hope we can all still be friends. I'll understand though if you want me to just go.

We did it! (Sketch comedy) 3/10/2009

As someone who has done standup and some sketch comedy...I have to say this did nothing for me.

Nitpicks:

1) No discernible punchline. It just kinda ends.
2) No real joke or explanation as to why the little girl was traumatized. This probably could have been fixed by having them stay longer and react as the guy melted down more. A punchline could have been effective at the end. "Jeff! We have to reboot Jim again!"

That's about it. The video quality and acting were great, but the material was weak.

I am interested in seeing more stuff, but this one fell flat for me.

You said everything I wanted to say. So, following this forums great tradition, let me say "^this"

New one's up!

This is one that I wrote, though don't appear in. It's part of a series I call Dramatic Readings of Pop Songs

Ideally the three I wrote would appear throughout an episode, but since we're doing these one at a time for right now it'll simply have to stand alone.

Written by Phil Rigney (me) Directed by Sean McCoy (not the same Sean who directed Bonk) Starring Anthony Herrera (Red Shirt) & Nick Reed (Blue Shirt)

Again, I hope you enjoy it.

We did it! (Sketch comedy) 3/18/2009

MUCH better than the first one!

Again the ending is kinda weak. They yell at each other and then decide that they are embarrassed? Hmm. How's about instead of the last face to face "Who's bad?!?" one of them has taken a few steps away, they both turn and say, "Who's bad?!?"...then they each do a random Michael Jackson move. THAT'S when they realize what they'd been doing and look abashed.

Or instead of going into Michael Jackson at all they start playing the world's worst game of basketball until one of them - in slow motion - accidentally makes a basket. He hangs his head in shame while the other guys yells, "Who's bad?!?" does a Michael Jackson move and then walks off the court. The loser sits for a bit, then gets up and starts to shoot baskets again.

UUUUUUUUUGH.

Ok, so the new one is up. Ok.

fuck.

I'm in it, and I can't act, so I don't want anyone to watch this. Ever

YES I mess up a line. YES we kept it. There were only two shots of that we could actually use, and I messed up the lane in the exact same way both times. My friends seem to agree that it adds to the experience? I dunno. I'm embarrassed as fuck.

AAAAAANYWAY give it a lookie-loo and again, I hope you enjoy it.

Written by Anthony Herrera (the red shirt in Bad) Directed by Sean Hardaway (Director of BONK)
Starring
Sean McCoy (Mark)
Phil Rigney (The guy who looks like me)
Anthony Herrera (The Drifter)

We did it! (Sketch comedy) 3/24/2009

This one was the best and worst of the three so far.

It had by far the best ending. There was an actual punchline, while the other two just kinda trailed away.

As to your acting....I've seen worse in larger productions.

But the blood from the mouth didn't make much sense to me. I thought the rest was done fairly decent. Nothing in the buildup had anything to do that was not related to the story, which is good.

In summation: I thought it was a bit slow at times, but the ending made up for it.

I think you guys are getting better at this.

We did it! (Sketch comedy) 3/31/2009

Hey guys!

New one is up! I think you'll enjoy this one, though I should know better by now.

Written by ME

directed by Sean McCoy! (Ninja, director of Bad)

Starring Anthony (you've seen him)

MK (the new guy, he's the pretty boy of the group)

and Sean Hardaway (Son of Thor)

The extra black screen time at the end is on purpose, we will be adding little tags to the end of our sketches with our group name soon.

In before Ed tears us a new one!

We did it! (Sketch comedy) 3/31/2009

Hmmm. I love this one!

Wait! That's tomorrow.

Seriously, though, these are getting better, but the dude in the Spider-man t-shirt's words and body language do not match. He's all "WHOA!!" and yet he doesn't flinch at all. The big fella is GREAT at that reaction and he really sells it. The little guy not so much.

I like the cool demeanor of the ninja dude, but you need a CRUNCH sound effect when he breaks the dude's neck. Like over the top cracking like in B movies.

And I'm not sold on the punchline. It needs something more. It looks like the origami bird already has words on it. Maybe they could pick it up and unfold it to read the punchline.

Big guy: What does it say?!?

Little guy: Eggs, milk, bread, 1 case of beer, pork rinds, shurikens, detergent, bleach...

Big guy: Wait! What?

Something like that. Maybe it just says, "No, I'm not a ninja." Then he reaches from behind themand takes the paper and walks out.

Sorry. I do like this one the best so far. You guys are getting better. This one was the best followed by the basketball one. GOD that one had potential!!

Plant Ref:
Good idea, but it got to be drawn out, especially near the end.

Little Guy:
Best one so far! Again, a few parts were a little drawn out, but not nearly as much as Plant Ref. This one gave me some hearty laughs.

As always, the acting is getting better and better.

You had the PERFECT chance to call himself Hoboninja and you PASSED IT UP!!! I'm upset!

Yeah, Little Guy is the best one yet. Cut out the length of the stoner guy's "Uuuuuh!" and it would be perfect! Nicely done, guys.

Great man! I'm glad I finally clicked on this thread! Keep up the awesome work!

Have you ever wondered how we write our sketches?

Well, we decided to film a writing session for once. Check it out.

You got smurfed

So we do this thing, called Throw Away Thursday?

It's full of things that aren't really full sketches?

Sometimes it's small sketches, sometimes it's things we did a while ago, sometimes it's just us talking about boobies?

check it out?

I hate to do this but I need to pimp our corporate sponsor for We Did It!

Why not try Bonkors Likor? It'll get you clown drunk!

Do you think Gabe (the blond guy) looks a lot like The Joker? Perhaps this is his real origin.

Thanks!

I wanna take a moment to thank those who are commenting. We've kind of made it our policy not to respond to criticism, good or bad, but we do appreciate anything you have to say about them. We're always aiming to do better.

Well, YOU don't need to respond, but we are missing the forums small yet vocal Mexican population.

Jk tell us what you think! Lay it on us oldie.

edit:

I just now noticed I completely butchered the word persistent and it wasn't even really the right word to use.

WHAT ARE WE DOING?????!!??!?!?

Words fail me, as I hope they do you.

We Did It! Tuesdays and Thursdays!

Hmm. Started watching these. I like them. I'll have to watch the rest soon when I have time.

We Did It! Tuesdays and Thursdays!

Maybe it'd be possible to post as many of the youtube links in one post?

I watched a few yesterday. The one with the dude in the closet made me laugh out loud, but only during the last minute or so. Haven't had a chance to watch the others.
