You could never win an election for the same reason I couldn't - the President has to pass on dick jokes, no matter how perfectly set up they are. Fuck that noise.

20's makes up over 50% of the forum, while 30+ makes up over 30%.
Also, the response is pretty good - When I did this on halfpixel we had about 80 votes the first day or so, and halforum did about what we have here (70 or so the first 24 hours).
So we've got a similar number of active people (active meaning reading and poll participating, not necessarily posting), but those that do post are posting less frequently than usual. This is normal over the summer (northern hemisphere) months, though, this should pick back up in September.

I would just like to point out that clearly 26-30 is the superior age range, combining the wisdom and maturity of the 31 years+ fogeys with the youth and vigor of the 25 years- kiddies.
