Right now in your life, what's your favorite thing about yourself?

It could be in reference to anything: Your hobbies, your work, your personality, your looks... More than one answer is fine. :)

What makes you proud to be you? I wish to know!

I'd have to go with my ability to pull a good meal out of thin pickings from the pantry and a paltry bit of meat. Take tonight's dinner for example. White bean and ham soup with garlic toast made from fresh baked bread (we didn't have any bread in the house).

I cant think of anything in particular. I know there are things about me that are good and somethings that I like about me but nothing sticks out more than another.

Now I am not saying I don't like my life cause I do like my life. And I do see many things I like about me but when I try to thing of one thing that's better my mind goes blank. I think for some part I am still figuring out exactly who I am and what fits me. If I have to name something I would say my ability to learn anything I need to and learn it quickly

My work ethic, my ability to learn something quickly, my compassion, my sense of humour, my eyebrows, and my nose.

To name a couple. :uhhuh:

Silvanesti

my laid backness I guess. I just have a hard time anymore getting really worked up about stupid shit or stupid people, it has made me much more happy and better to be around.

A

Andromache

my acting ability, though it will never ever win me an oscar.

The ability to function in a world where I just want to see everyone around me either shot in a robbery, burned in a fire, hit by a car, tortured by a serial killer, bleed from a wound...... *trails off into thought*

Able to smile, be cordial and collect paychecks on a weekly basis.

... Nothing that I can think off. I know it's my confidence issues talking, but I honestly feel like a complete and utterly worthless human being. If I wasn't, I'd have at least found some way to contribute to the people I live with, instead of being a giant waste of their resources. Besides, considering the way the people I know treat me consistently, I get the feeling I'm not the only one who thinks this.

My ability to, er, um. Damn, this is harder than I thought.

I like my miniatures. :) That's kinda all I've got.

My sense of humor and ability to make others laugh, even if it's at me being a total moron. I might not be happy very often but I feel better knowing everyone around me is having a good time.

My sense of humor and here's where I'm not gonna lie, I like my body for the first time in pretty much my entire life. I've finally shed most of the fat that plagued me throughout high school and college. I have some abs going on. I'm no longer embarrassed to go swimming. It's been a huge boost to my confidence.

I actually like myself, which is a far cry from the depressive fat kid I was 10 years ago (man, it's been almost 10 years since I graduated high school. My parents were right, once you're done school, your life just flies by.)

I...can't really think of anything. But that's depression for you.

I have to go with AshBurner and ThatNickGuy for the moment. I know I'm not horrible at a lot of stuff, but lately, I've mainly seen myself in a negative light, and haven't been able to do anything to be proud of or especially interesting or good. Just a long list of failures, so, err, nope.

@TNG- You're a comics connoisseur with a love of animals.

@Bubble181- If any man could seduce me with his eyes as he sips a beer, it would be you.

"A beer"? Dude, that was 6 year old Geuze Hanssens :-P

Also, thanks. I'd look OK, if it wasn't for being constantly plagued by nervous ticks.

P

Pojodan

My persistence.

It's also one of my least favorite things about myself, but more often than not it brings me good things.

G

Greendog

My ability to kill a yak from two hundred yards away.

With mind bullets!

Ya beat me to it, phil. If I have to do it for you, I'm going to... and I welcome anyone else to do what phil did. This thread is about taking a moment in the day to feel good about yourself.

Nick, you're pun-tastic, and your knowledge of comics is incredible.

Bubble: You make me laugh, and you can be very sweet.

Ash: Drawing from that story about that friend of yours, you're seem very empathetic and caring. Those qualities can cause some grief, but it also means that there's lots of good in you.

So there.
