I have a new little bundle of joy in the house. We named him the H1N1 virus and he's so CUTE!

Ugh, for real? Sorry man, was nice knowing you. They say the elderly are the ones hit hardest by this. Can I have your t.v. when you go? (Joking, get well soon over there!)

Man, I'm so sorry...that you'll be sick for a few days and likely be up and attem in pretty quickly.

SAMMI has the H1N1. She's pretty sick but nothing deadly. I'm just staying as far away as possible.

Hope she recovers quickly and the rest of the family stays healthy.

Wait, who was Sammi in your family hierarchy again? I'm sure you've told it, but I just can't remember...

Anyway, hope she is well soon again. I'm no hippie but here's some positive energy her way...

...

There. Did she feel that?

Here's to her not coming around my uni. They've decided they'll close for 10 weeks if it reaches pandemic level ~_~ Goddamn panicking media.

A friend just had it, too. She was out of comission for about a week, nothing too serious.

They still won't let her inside her job, though. Heh.

Anyway, hope she gets well soon. Over here it's been 0.002% as deadly as the normal flu so far so I wouldn't fuzz over it too much.

Well, her fever finally broke late last night. For a while she wasn't responding to the medication and we worried (probably over worried) that we waited too long to take her in to the doctor.

But she'll be fine and I'll keep having to wear my surgical mask at home.

Yay for Sammi and drugs! ^_^

Incidentally, you have remembered to dispose of all the paper tissues and such? I mean, Shego's probably hiding somewhere nearby, hoping to get a sample for her... "project".

Glad to hear she will be fine, but isn't she the one supposed to be wearing the mask?
You can never be too safe, it's better if everyone wears masks. Specially if they're not certified to stop the crap (e.g. dollar store surgical mask).
My wife works in a doctor's office. These are not cheap masks. She's quarantined. Anyone in masks up. She comes out, she masks up. Sanitizer & Lysol for everyone.

My mother was in Brazil about a month ago, doing some church work in the slums of ... some city. Anyhow, when she got back, and had to go back to work (she's a nurse) there was concern that she had contracted H1N1. She had had the symptoms while in Brazil, but by the time she had gotten home they were past, and it was past the incubation period anyhow.

So it wasn't confirmed, but the general consensus is that she probably had it.

Just a question but do yall do like a complete cleaning of the bathroom every time she uses it or the shower or tub? Seems like the easiest way to spread something is the most common place in the home, bathroom sink, toilet, water knobs, etc
