So one of my coworkers comes in and he's wearing this odd cologne.
I kept getting the odd feeling that it reminded me of an action figure I had back in the day.

Suddenly it came to me.

Needless to say I neglected to mention the connection to him.

My parents still tell the story of buying Stinkor for me when I was a kid. We lived in Alaska at the time (so I was like 3 or 4) and He-Man figures were really hard to get. They'd searched really hard to find what I wanted for Christmas, and they knew it was going to stink. So they put it in the garage for a week, but that didn't lessen the smell enough. They returned it to the store and bought me something else.

I miss He-Man and She-Ra, it was pretty.

What is this She-Ra you speak of? I have no recollection of that show. Was it a spin off or something? I certainly never owned a blue haired action figure named Frosta, because I wouldn't have wanted something like that so I could play with my sisters. No sir, and I would never have recognized the Peek-a-blue cosplay I'll be posting later in another thread. Certainly not. :humph:

Ouch, there you have a big part of my childhood, He-man toys (along with GIJOE and Thundercats)... okay, I also waned a She-Ra action figure, as the cartoon seemed better than He_man with almost double the production value, but I didnt dare go into a toy store and buy one in fear of someone seeing it.

Hm, when I looked at the subject, I though of this:

I spent hours putting my guys on that tram that ran between the castles.

I ruined the moat by putting the green slime stuff from the Slime Pit into it.

For some reason, I thought I remembered being able to attach the actual Castle Greyskull and Snake Mountain bases to Castle Eternia.

I had almost all He-Man figures (as listed on that poster they had...it had the units one side, the vehicles and stuff on the other side, I think). I always liked the turning chests to indicate damage thingie He-Man and Skeletor had.
