Sorry if I got anyone's hopes up for another season, but I just watched pilot for this show and...wow. I LOVE it. It's so...quirky. And all the bright colours is so vividly different from so many other shows (similar to how so many video games are bland browns and such).
Though, it's so quirky that it ALMOST takes me out of it. Such as how well Chuck takes everything in. Or everyone else that Ned brings back to life, for that matter. But then, this show is meant to be kind of a dark comedy. Any other show, the people would be freaking out, asking why they're alive again, etc. Kinda like...well, kinda like the use of that glove thing in Torchwood.
Anyway, after one episode, I'm hooked and really sad that it only lasted two seasons before getting cancelled. Heck, I was hooked within the first minute, when it was revealed his dog's name was Digby. That pup shares the same name as MY pup that...I sadly had to put down a few years ago.
But...yeah, happy thoughts. It's such a great show. What totally sold it for me was the pilot's conclusion, with the one-eyed aunt conviently not seeing Chuck. I was cracking up from that revelation.
