Black women love me long time.

Well, one black woman loved me a long time ago.

Well, she made love to me.

Well, because I paid her to.

I really miss post counts. I'd like to know how many of these useless posts I've made.

I dated a black chick once. Really cute, slim gal. But she was 20, I was 30. The age difference and maturity level really came into play.

Man, did she have some rockin' ta-tas.

Had some Somali students while I was doing my teacher training. Nice kids, actually.

Met a black exchange student from Washington DC while I was in Ireland. Never really talked to him because he hanged in a different crowd. When I did chat with him in the international students' New Year's Party, he told some kind of a joke, and for some strange reason I laughed and said "Oh snap!". He looked at me like I had just asked if I could measure his skull for Negroid traits and never spoke to me again.

Also, I have this fantasy... which I will not tell here.

Red; because I obviously dig through every post in every thread.

Shannow; have you heard about this thing called being a complete douche-bag? Wait, you're living the dream!

I forgot about this website. Awesome! Especially in the context of my multicultural lit class, where we've been talking serious-face about critical whiteness. Not that that isn't interesting...but I mean, like, this is fucking funny, not like the man-hating every-book-a-girl-gets-raped Toni Morrison novel.

I always find it strange to see Europeans post stuff like this. Nothing against you guys, it's just so unusual for me. I grew up in South Carolina, which is like 30% black, and probably greater than that in my home town.

Actually I don't have a problem with someone posting, by accident or ignorance, something that was posted before. I certainly don't expect everyone to read through every thread. I've mentioned my dislike of the "old news is old" meme in a previous thread for relatively similar reasons.

He just means that, the way you wrote what you did, you make it seem like you wrote about all (or even just most) of your experiences with black people in that short post. He couldn't even begin to do that, and neither could I. (Nor could I do that with pretty much any race, as I lived in Toronto for a long time and that place is like Babylon 5)

Right, what Gruebeard said. Just that that's your full experience with black people (if that's what you meant) is hard to imagine. Nothing bad.

Oh...

*puts away the noose*

That's life for me, anyway... Finland's a pretty monocultural country, and the minorities there are (Somali, Turkish, Kurds, Russians, Estonians) are by no means as organized or prevalent as they are in the US. I admit I'm a little hesitant to work with black people... I just fear I'll let out something truly and horrendously offensive.

"But my best friend is"... um... okay, he's Ukrainian. You happy now?

I've thought that I would be labeled a racist if I ever said something like what North Ranger said since I saw a stand up comedian that said that "It's obvious you are racist if you can tell how many black people you know" or something to that effect...

But I have to admit I've met very few black people in my life:

When I was little (3 years old), my father introduced me to a colleague of his, wich is a black man. After a while, they discovered I was avoiding to touch him because I thought he was terribly dirty! (I can't imagine my father's embarassment... this sounds TERRIBLY racist, but I simply didn't know somebody's skin could be that dark!)

There was a black girl in my class at school. We were relatively friendly at each other, but we didn't hang out with the same groups. There was also one black girl in a reduced group class at my university.

A black woman cleaned my house for some time, but she preferred to sleep and destroy everything in sight than to actually work or shower, so she quickly lost this job.
Her aunt works at my Grandparent's house, and she is very much like the woman that owns Tom in several cartoons!

And that's pretty much my experience with black people.

Well, I've seen some in the street too. Never talked to them, though.

Sooo... I'm clearly a racist because I lived in the countryside where there were no black people, in a country where there are very few black people? :suspicious:

Does it help that I meet a lot of Kurds? Or am I a terrorist now?

What I find more problematic is you apparent hatred for pants.

Hey, for the record, I never said that. I just sounded so alien to me, that's all.

How many points would living in alabama and having a black stepdad earn me?

I know, fade. No worries, I was just poking fun at the comedian's idea :p

Sad fact: They replaced her with a thin white woman when they remastered the cartoons that featured her.
W... Why would they ever do something like that???
Because it's 'wrong' to portray stereotypical black people and perfectly alright to portray stereotypical white people?

Honestly, I don't get all the PC fuss. Give me my 'blackface' back! ^^
Guess the person making that call didn't want the older Tom & Jerry cartoons going the way of the Censored Eleven...

Ok I must have mistaken the manner of your reply. Hopefully the sticky tounge smilie conveyed the correct level of my actual seriousness.

Seems to me the issue of whether someone is racist is not dictated by how they treat people of other race that they do know but how they treat people of other race that they don't know. Not talking to a stranger in the street is not a sign of racism, crossing the street to avoid them because of the colour of their skin is.
