Sooo... when the dead rise to bite your ass, everybody should wear drag?
The joke is, once the zombie apocalypse starts, all social conventions fly out the window.
You can see that alluded to in panel 5, where Brent orders Francis to kill the pets and children, because they're dead weight. Not "Get the kids, we have to save them" but "kill the kids..they're dead weight".
In panel 7, Jade says it outright: "This is madness! We're already turning into animals!"
So, panel 8: When all social conventions are thrown out the window, Brent prefers to wear a dress. He's been a repressed drag queen all these years. Ha ha.....ha.
I was slightly amused, until I had to deconstruct the joke.

It was okay.
Then again, it is a horror story that Skull is telling the bone fairy. That could clear up why Brent is seen in such a negative light.

I think it would have worked best if he had split it into two strips, and changed the first strip to Cole just running in screaming about zombies, omitting the "I've been bit" part.It was a great strip but I thought that the timing of the first panel could have been better served placed in a slightly different way.
Of course it may be possible that i'm completely wrong, but I thought it worked better if you saw that it was Brent before he shot Cole.
Brent yells, "Holy Cats!" or "Sweet Christmas" or some other classic comic stand-in for profanity, shoots Cole, and then in the last panel just says, "What? It's the only way to be sure."
I thought that the whole FYGIF was starting in another thread about PVP. I used it there right around the same time as some other posters started talking about it. My post got stuck in the middle. I figured it, like so many other memes on this board, stuck around. Apparently not.
