I hear music coming from the house next to mine. I haven't been able to place exactly when it starts, because it's feint enough to miss if you're listening to anything else, but so long as it's silent, I can hear it fairly clearly. It loops continuously forever, until I I go to bed.
It's an acoustic guitar (or two) playing a jaunty little tune. The song has a beginning and an end, almost disjointed enough to sound like a DVD title screen looping. The first time I heard it, I simply assumed its owner had watched a movie and fallen asleep, and it reverted back to title after finished.
This is the third day in a row I've noticed it. It started about an hour ago, and it's still looping. I have no idea what's causing it. I speculate it may be some kind of alarm clock, but it runs and runs and runs forever with no one turning it off. It's also got more bass then trebble, contrary to a tinny alarm clock speaker.
I've attempted to record the audio to see if somebody here might be able to identitfy it, but it's too soft for the mic to pick up. So long as no traffic's going by, I can hear it quite clearly.
I don't know what to do at this point. It's driving me crazy. My neighbor's a recluse, I've only seen him a handful of times and I've lived here for about three or four years now.
