I'd have thought Boba Fett would be the fat one since nobody healthy would spend $700 on several pieces of plastic to wear one day a year
That has to be a typo. I can't imagine that costume is at much higher quality than the other costumes.

Like if you had a boba fett costume you'd only wear it one day a year.

I'd wear that thing to church.

I put the rimshot in so that Mav knows I'm kidding. I got nothing against the guy and he knows it.

Oh noes, Dave made a joke at someone else's expense! Earth is doomed!

...or life goes on as normal.

Also: People analyze these kinds of ads too much. So there's only one fat guy, and he happens to be wearing the Star Trek stuff. I'm more offended at the fact that all I see are white guys, and no other race/sex (even though the majority of people who like this stuff are, in fact, white guys).

Do you see a Lando costume? Or a Mace costume? No? Then they are staying true to form.

There's a Nero costume next to Fatty McFatasfuck. They're just saying Starfleet is full of "husky" individuals.

ohhhh this is gold. Where's Mav to confirm/deny? :p
lol

actually they are a bit incorrect, the stereotypical fat white male nerd is usually a fan of Star Wars too, yet all their SW costumes are skinny folk variety

*shrug* heh..

How can you be sure with the Fett costume, though?

For die-hard fans sure, but if we are talking overall fandom. I have met a lot more normal healthy people that like Star Wars compared to Star Trek. Honestly in person aside from 2-3 people the only Star Trek fans I know are ueber fucking nerds, where as everyone loves Star Wars*.

*Except for my Dad, he fucking hates Star Wars. Well he generally hates all like Sci-Fi and horror type things. I got my love of Sci-Fi and horror from my grandma on his side.
