Awright, finally sent the gift today. With international shipping, I was told it would hit the other side of the Atlantic on the Christmas week.
I just hope that the receiver doesn't read the obligatory "cargo manifesto" glued to the back of the package. Stupid legislation... what do they think I was mailing? Yellowcake plutonium?

Sent my stuff over yesterday...apparently 10-15 days to get to the US...I sent the stuff to a family member and then they'll send the stuff over to my secret Santa since i had other things in the package and It apparently is pretty damned expensive to ship packages to the states so I wanted to put all my stuff together. So, dear recipient, you should get your stuff within 2-3 weeks

I am so excited. I'm also sending my gift either today or tomorrow. I had to wait this long for money, and I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to ship it in time, so I'm sending it straight from the online retailer. I hope it doesn't make my person sad that it isn't gift-wrapped or anything.
Incidentally, about a dozen times in the last week, I've been walking around town and something would strike me as a good gift for a forumite who isn't my secret Santa. I love sending stuff to people.
