I've often wondered how you access the internet hip deep in Vikingland ;)
...

Go stand in a cross-fire, Ensign Cannon-Fodder.

Just kidding, just kidding. But be warned. I will end you if you keep calling me a Viking. We lived next door to the Vikings and made them eat their helmets, horned or otherwise.

If you want to, you can call Me a viking. Newfoundland was the site of a viking settlement somewhere around 1000 A.D. The mascot for the city I grew up in was Leif the Lucky, a viking caricature based on Leif Erickson.

Here it is!

I have graced the +15 frost resistance hat with my beautiful mug for all to see. Very cool. As I said, it came just in time. I'm off to clean my garage so I can get my tractor in, and it's 13 degrees and dropping. Winter is finally here.

I case you didn't know this before, uploading stuff to photobucket on dialup sucks donkey balls.

Oh, and my frost mage disapproves of this hat.;)

Hahaha, once I saw that you lived in the frigid midwest and were a WoW fan, the answer was simple.

Glad you enjoy. :D

WOHOO! I got my gift this morning!

Here it is... the Amazon package, smiling so smugly at me...

And here's the morning paper, so you can see I haven't been holding back from you guys.

And here it is: The Authoritative Calvin & Hobbes, wohoo! :D Seriously, stop looking at me like that. I lurve C&H :) Also, sorry about the lamp flare.

Here is me, overjoyed and undercombed. I had woken up like ten minutes ago.

Even my father, who had stayed over for the night with mom, was so overjoyed. Here he is, in his traditional morning garb, bursting with joy-joy feelings.

In fact, he was so impressed he joined me in giving a two... errr... a thumb-and-a-half-up to this nice prezzie.

I have an idea who sent this, but I cannot be sure. The trail grew cold somewhere in Deeeeeeep East Texas. Thank you, whoever you may be ;)

I have THAT VERY BOOK at my house right now in my "reading room". Okay. The bathroom.

I LOVE the thumb-and-a-half salute!

Damn, that's one cool present.

Also, you and your father, together, you wear all the clothes of a regular person, or....? :-P

Awwww, NR, cute pics! I never thought I'd see someone's shirtless father on these boards.

Y'all look like buddies. ^_^

They actually only have 1 outfit total. The rest of the time they run around naked. In these pictures, dad is wearing the pants and NR is wearing the shirt.

In order:

Bubble, in all honesty, on most occasions he wears less clothes than I do.

Thanks, Espy. I also have two really funny pictures of dear old dad drinking Guinness, but I promised not to put them online. If they were made into a .gif file, maybe some leekspin-kinda music in the background, he'd be the next Numa boy :D

Mav, he's not naked. He's got his pants on. And the book does cover his floppy... erm... The book covers his chest!

Seej, there's a first time for everything ;) And don't tell me you didn't secretly like it ^-^

...

Dave, only on sauna days. I mean, ass-sweat is not really good for most furniture.

I've gotta move to this "clothes-optional" country. That's how much I hate shopping.
You can sleep on the couch. I promise I'll feed him ;)

I totally did. Tell your dad we need more eye candy around here! *rowr*

Also, tell him that his eyebrows are magnificent.

Oh it wasn't that. I think he might like hearing a compliment about his 'brows, especially since I tell him to go an' get them cleaned up, for God's sake :D I'd have to keep him in check, though... He's something of a charmer. Nothing serious, of course, he and Mom are happily married. He just likes to joke around a lot.

He might be a little... surprised at the commentary otherwise. Seriously, people, have none of you seen your dads without a shirt on? At least once?
