Not only have I sent my gift, but as of this morning tracking reports that it's on the truck for delivery. Sadly, I had to order online, so I doubt that my identity will be kept secret from my recipient.

Not at all. I acted as intermediary so people could keep themselves secret if they wanted to, but it's entirely up to you. I think most people didn't.
