I shipped potentially questionable things and customs doesn't like that.

And even if it does make it, it might have exploded.

So, I got home from work today, no package, no notice on the door that it's in the office, nothing in the mailbox.... I was feeling rather anxious about getting a present in the mail. But it looked like Santa was holding off for yet another day. So I saddle up the Pug (or put a harness on him) to take him out for his afternoon constitutional (also known as "I GOTTA GO POOP NOW!! moment) and decided to stop by the office to check on the status of a repair that we're waiting on, and the manager says that she's got a package for me. JOY!

So we chat a little and the Pug and I are heading home to see what is in this wonderful package from ThinkGeek!

Here's the box...


and here is it after being carefully sliced open (I take my present opening seriously)...


Looks good, got a catalog to look though in the reading room later, but that's not the good stuff, there is a can of "Smart Mass Thinking Putty Dark Matter"...


And a "Make your own Snowman World" kit (the only way that we'll ever be able to make a snowman world in East Texas....)


I plan on having some fun with this stuff, thanks Santa from Backus, Mn! (or Tim if you prefer ;) )

It's not Christmas without making at least one snowman, and like you said this is probably the only way for you to get to do it. Or you could just make snowballs and throw them at someone.:D

It's kind of a "super" silly putty. I've already stretched it out to about 6 foot in length and even my wife likes playing with it, it's really some cool stuff.

Wife looked at the catalog that came with it, she wants the lightsaber chopsticks now... might just have to get them for her, Valentine gift maybe...

I'm gonna be nerve-wracked for over a month if that's the case.

If they don't announce it soon I'm going to pick up something else. I'll probably get the first one back after I send the second one and I'll just keep it myself.
Edit: The second one will be just as good if not the same as the first one, so fear not giftee.

January 4th, actually. And yeah.... Some countries have horrible shipping times. Grrr.

So it's going to be getting to you around the last minute but I'm like 99% sure you'll like it.

Alrighty, so that's a Sent on everyone except for Sin, and I know her package exploded or something and if she hasn't sent it yet, she will, so everyone's good on a sent.
