I'm in Dallas right now, so I can't check my mail...but before I left I got a thing saying that I had a packaged at the UPS store.

I assume it is a trap of some kind.

Glad you liked them Doomdragon and unless my sarcasm detector has been fried (which is entirely possible), yes I did spend some time in China. In fact I'm living there now and bought all of those things here in Tianjin. I sent the package back home to Florida first and had someone send it to Alabama, which is why the package itself didnt have a Chinese address

I'm really glad you got it. I was getting nervous after the package hadn't gotten to the states after two weeks. Glad everything made it ok.

So here's the story (all about how ... )

I leave for God's Country tomorrow (aka. my hometown) and I still haven't received a gift. That's not a problem, because it means that I'll have something exciting to come back to. But it also means that for the next week I won't be able to recieve it. I assume I'll get notification of some sort by the postal service or courrier or whatever, but I'm altogether worried about everything going wrong at once.

If you are my santa, and you get conformation that my order has 'arrived' in the next week, could you send me a PM or post here or something? I know it's supposed to be "Secret" Santa and not "Annouce it in an electronic form" Santa, but you know how it is

after further tests, i deciphered the writing on the side! the translation helped.

Inside the box... i find... things! of a strange and peculiar nature!

yes! its ... some form of plant and a fuzzy thing wearinga santa hat theres a letter inside too! this explains some things. and cash moneys!

and the plant? its spanish moss:drum:

Well, I got my gift on Christmas Eve. I'd love to post pictures but they were on my Nokia N97, which got stolen in Shanghai so they're gone, and so is my joy.

I was literally walking out the door to the airport to go to Shanghai when I got the books. It was perfect. I read through the entire Gaunt's Ghost novel in less than a day. I read it in the airport, on the plane, and a few hours into the early morning when I arrived in Shanghai, and finished it after I woke up. I've been starving for some good reading material and its perfect. Going through the second one now. Cheers to you Bubble, perfect gift
