Avatar week: Things you are thankful for

Yeah, it's amero-centric (US Thanksgiving holiday is next week). You may choose not to participate if you so choose.

Change your avatar to something you are thankful for. Avoid cliches and try to think of something unique that others might not guess about you. Yes, we know for most of you your family, baby, SO, job, etc are at the top of the list of things you are thankful for. You don't need to use the thing you are most thankful for, just one from the large (hopefully) list of things you are thankful for.

Please explain your choice in this thread, even if it's obvious.

Yep, I'm pretty thankful for Futurama because it's funny as hell.

This is a nice idea. :) I have a few ideas already. I'm kind of attached to my avatar again, so I might end up not doing it. Still, great idea, steinman, if not a little exclusive considering our diverse bunch. :p

I'll bite: the transistor. The transistor radio was probably singularly responsible for the birth of youth culture as we understand it today. The ability for young people to take their music with them led to a rise in music for them. Rock and Roll for one was most certainly popularised by its radio air play. If not for the transformer we'd all be attending tea dances.

Tell me about it, I finally gave in and got a black and white macabre avatar after being on the board since it opened, and less than a week everyone was hey let's do owl avatars!!!!

I'm not gonna do every avatar change, but this one I'm ok with. :pop2:

I'm thankful for it's background colour.

So I'ma keep it.

Or just make a gross green coloured swatch.
