hmmm.. Interesting video (love the "godfather" at the end)

What does the future of dating?

- Technology will be the link between couples. We have Facebook, text message, phone, software, and all kinds of stuff to know the other person.

- virtual? long distant only effect the physical part. I read an article someone got married via vidphone.

- but while the virtual world will be the "norm" I can see people actually meeting each other across the world for a date (when travel gets cheaper)

what do y'all think?

I don't date. Seriously, I've been on, like, two dates in my entire life.

I'm either alone or in a relationship. D'know exactly how I manage that, but...

Technology has always been the link to facilitate communication between two people, romantic or otherwise. Languages developed because of a need to articulate thoughts between people, and the things we see today are just the natural progression of this development.

Going on the current situation, mine will probably include human trafficking and or the russian mafia.

Main stream media is always one step behind... this is the future of dating:

Search your feelings, you know it to be true...

Reminds me of that Robot Chicken sketch where a scientist is presenting his female robot to a room full of scientists, when one raises his hand and asks "Can you fuck it?"

Met my current girlfriend using a dating site.
Technology seems to work out really well initially and to keep in touch. I don't think it will ever be able to replace what just sitting in a room and talking can accomplish though.
