The Sopranos

I know it isn't a new series but it is one of my favorites and I want to talk about it.

I am rewatching... well for like the 5th tiime watching the series. I really feel bad for Adriana. I think she really got screwed. Anyone else think there are characters that just got worse than they deserved? There were plenty that got what they deserved.

I love the Sopranos, it's one of my favorites of all time. I guess we should go ahead and say unmarked spoilers since, WELL, it's bout the whole series.


Let's get the most obvious question out of the way: what did y'all think of the ending?

I hate it when anything ends. But the ending to that series gave no closure at all. I am still annoyed. I dont like things left to my imagination I want to know. I wish they would have done a Six Feet Under style wrap up.

Another thing I find interesting about the Sopranos is that when someone gets shot I dont really care I mean I do if I care about the character and everything but the violence aspect doesn't bother me. But when someone is beaten, it disturbs me. I have a lot of emotions tied up in the show lol.

I'm waiting/hoping for Janice to kick the bucket, preferably with the help of a shotgun.
Rooting for Chris and Adriana.
Thinking that Paulie's a douche.
Wondering if people will ever find out what happened to Ralphie.

This makes complete sense. A shooting is cold and distant and you don't have to get very close to the person. A beating is very visceral, more blood, up close, actually touching the person, getting their blood on you, and is much more painful and takes time before the victim is dead or unconscious.

Janice is like my least favorite character. I can't stand her. She is manipulative and rude. The mob guys are cruel and stuff but for business reasons, she is just like that generally.
