now i know some of you people are crazy and don't like this show, but even still you have to find and watch the latest episode. it was amazing. totally unlike brave and the bold, would have been amazing btas episode. hell, if it had been a btas episode it would have been one of the best there too.

basic plot summary: kevin conroy as the phantom stranger and mark hamill as the spectre play a game with batman's soul as the prize. how could you not want to watch that?!

Just like how Spiderman doesn't dance...
Batman doesn't sing.

When Warner Bros starts making good Super Hero toons again let me know.

But see, Bruce Wayne can sing. Peter Parker thinks he can dance... All the strength and agility of a spider, but no grace.

That...was a DAMN good episode. No surprise that it was written by Paul Dini. Though, I have to admit, as much as I love Bader as Batman, he just didn't deliver the lines just the right way. That huge pivotal moment with Chill, when he was delivering that speech, it was laughable. If Kevin Conroy had done it? I woulda had tears or something.

Holy crap. I'm looking at the credits at the end. Richard Moll did the voice of Moxon! Richard "Bull from Night Court" also did the Bat-computer's AI voice in the Animated Series...and Two-Face. It really WAS a reunion!

*checks episode title*

So just to clarify, this isn't a Mr. Freeze episode?
while freeze has some of the best btas episodes this one is about a different chill...one who has a little bit more personal meaning to batman, if you know what i mean

Mr. Freeze does make an appearence, but he is NOT the focus of the episode by a long shot. He actually shows up with a bunch of the "Rogue's Gallery".

As for Joe Chill...
Joe Chill was the thug who originally shot Bruce Wayne's parents that night. When the villians find out HE is to blame for Batman, they go nuts on him.

I got a rerun the night that was supposed to show.
Yeah, "Chill of the Night", "The Power of Shazam!" and "The Super-Batman of Planet X!" all got delayed for some reason. None of them have aired yet, which explains why they haven't shown up on Cartoon Network's website yet. I don't get CN on analog cable anymore, and I didn't realize until I read this thread that they hadn't shown on CN as originally scheduled.
