Given that FF is getting the reboot treatment, it won't matter. You guys almost had John Krasinski as the Cap, too. I'm with the AV Club on this one (whoodathunkit), Chris Evans was one of the things that actually stood out in those stupid fucking Fantastic Four movies (I really liked Doom, too, but ehh...for another time).
The FF, X-men, and Spider-Man, and the first Hulk movies were produced by Sony pictures I believe. The newer movies, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, are all being produced by Marvel's own studio, meaning that they have the film rights to their characters, and can use any of the superheroes who's rights aren't currently being whored out to another company. As someone who's only seen hunks of the Fantastic Four movie, I have to say I find this move incredibly confusing. Is the idea that they're planning on combining all of these other heroes into one big universe, cameos and whatnot, and the FF are just not being counted or what?

The same dude who directed The Rocketeer and The Wolfman.I'm okay with this. I've liked Evans in other movies. Well, just Sunshine. Who's directing?
