Kevin Flynn was Jeff Bridges character in Tron. The whole site is in preparation for Tron 2.

It's a side-scrolling shooter, and you're so close it's hilarious.

I can get the ones that were in the Arcade, or made it big on PC's. I just don't know Jack about console gaming.

Yeah, Defender came out a couple of years later.
Defender: Stargate was the sequel, and came out the next year. I am assuming this is the game referred to in the website, and not any game that was spun off from the Stargate movie/series.

Shadow of the Colossus came out in 2005, though. Not old enough to be a classic.
Well that was a good time but I did horribly. Wouldn't have gotten past 12/56 without this thread.
I dunno...Halo gets included, but Quake or Doom doesn't? I can understand no Wolfenstein as being too hard to show cryptically...But I was surprised at some games left off. I know, I know, I'm a pc gamer at heart, but...No Dune? That'd have been easy. Or Diablo...Well, I can keep it up. Plenty of easily-depicted classics not shown, and some games I didn't expect on there.
