Introducing the Halforums Gameroom!

If you look up at the top you'll see a new tab called Gameroom. This is exactly what it sounds like. Set up a poker game, play chess, or just do some slot machines. The big difference between that and the Arcade is that the Arcade just keeps score, this lets you accrue "money" with which to gamble. You get money by winning, posting, voting on polls, etc. So the more active you are the more points you'll have to gamble with. It's going to be pretty hard to lose all of your points and if you do go broke you'll be reset to 500 "dollars".

I'm more worried about the images breaking in anything other than IE. I think it's a Flash thing but I don't know.

Doh! I am so used to being on FireFox when I am home...I thought I was on it now. I am using IE right now. I did check under firefox and yes the images are broken.

There's a pro version also, but so far I think the only difference is that the pro version has "4 in a row", "Checkers" and "Battleship". Not sure if that addition is worth $49, though.

I have a system, which lead to my first assumption that the table is rigged.

Here's my initial views after testing:

Solo Games are okay. The slots are fucking terrible. But the poker and let it ride are okay.

Multi-player games:

Poker is okay but it's slow and unless you go no limit the betting is broken. There were times testing it last night when I raised -5 or 0. Nuts.
Chess works great. It's what [STRIKE]Crone[/STRIKE] ... [STRIKE]Andro[/STRIKE] ... Amy has been waiting for.

And there are very easy ways to cheat money and I don't care if you do it. We aren't using the money for anything else and it's not a measure of forum epeen, so there.

We should make forum money buy forum stuff like forum avatars and forum titles and shiny forum gifs you can put under your forum post count. The forum would sure become a better place with those forum rules and forum add-ons.
