So, after playing Prototype and Assassin's Creed, I wondered something:
Do you think it'd be possible to make a sandbox city exploration game where it's an exact replica of a real city you can explore? It'd be more of an educational title, but I think it might be kind of fun. You could have the street names, key landmarks (statues, even), etc.
It might be handy for people who like to travel or want to go there but can't (or can't, yet). Toronto is a fun city to explore, but I'm bias because I live there. Paris could be neat.
It might even work well as an MMO, allowing people to explore together. Hrm, this is starting to sound like a "why not just go there in real life?"
Thoughts?
