Ok, windows media player, winamp, media monkey-all seem pretty good at getting the job done, I clicky on file, entertainment happens. I prefer Media Monkey at the moment cause it doesn't seem to nosh all the RAM in my old tune laptop, and that's spiffy.

Here's the thing, the first option in most any menu for all three programs is BUY NOW. Why are they offering a handy link to go buy what I already have? If these were streaming tracks I could understand, but no, these are already ripped files on my harddrive. If I didn't have the tracks, they wouldn't be there for me to BUY NOW. Like AC/DC tracks, give me a button to buy AC/DC tracks and I would hit it in a flash, but there ain't one.

What am I missing?

God forbid people request that you pay for something they worked hard coding.
The buy now link is to let me buy the song again, not the player. And BTW I got the lifetime License for the player, so just get back on your horse there buckaroo.

I can't find a "buy now" option anywhere on WMP or Winamp. Have you perhaps caught a virus or something that's inserting ads into your programs?

Can't post the media monkey at the moment, laptop locked up at work, but it's just as obvious.

The CD itself is over 10 years old, and re-ripped a few weeks ago.

You didn't make it clear it was for the individual songs, not the player, buckaroo.

Ah, I see. I usually keep that list pane closed on WMP, and it only shows the buy option when I mouse over the cover art. I'd never seen that before.
