Megan Fox: It Was My Decision to Leave Transformers
Megan Fox is seeking to transform rumor to fact.

The actress is slamming speculation she was booted from the third installment of the Transformers action film franchise.

“Megan Fox will not be starring in Transformers 3," reps for the actress, 24, tell PEOPLE. "It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best.”

Citing unnamed sources, Variety reports the studio and the film's director, Michael Bay, intend to case another actress as star Shia LaBeouf's love interest to move the story in a different direction.

Shooting for the film, slated for a July 2011 release, is expected to kick off this summer in locations across the U.S.

Fox, meanwhile, is prepping for the June 18 release of Jonah Hex, an action film she stars in opposite Josh Brolin, John Malkovich and Will Arnett.

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - In a surprisingly sudden axing, Megan Fox will not return to star in "Transformers 3," which began shooting this week in Los Angeles.

FILM

The actress last year likened franchise director Michael Bay to Hitler and Napoleon, and said he was "a nightmare to work for." Still, it is unusual to eliminate an actor or actress so closely associated with the movie, not to mention a key character in the movie, just as it begins production.

The move is also unusual since word around Hollywood talent agencies was that Bay and writer Ehren Kruger were planning on creating a female nemesis for Fox.

Bay and company now plan to take the story "in another direction," according to insiders, and will cast a new love interest.

The third installment of the popcorn blockbuster had been amassing a higher level of actors, with John Malkovich, Frances McDormand and Patrick Dempsey being new additions.

Fox returns to theaters next month in "Jonah Hex." Her non-involvement in "Transformers 3" was first reported by Deadline.com.

Is it sad that I only paid attention to her scenes?

It made t2 bearable

Nah, just because he seems to have Scarlett up on some kind of pedestal and I could just see a big thing arising out of nothing. Actually and in all reality, for nothing at all, but purely because your reference to a board meme type thing just made me want to play along. You are getting over defensive my dear and for no reason. I actually agree with you to a degree.

It depends on if Calleja disagrees with you.

And they'd need to get rid of more than bay and la-boof as well to save that movie.

... What? No nvm.

So, with the absence of Megan Fox's God awful atrocious acting, Transformers 3 will now be just as unbearably terrible as Transformers 2.

Nothing can save it. Nothing.

Female nemesis? What the fuck... ITS GIANTS ROBOTS FROM SPACE... LET'S FOCUS ON THAT INSTEAD OF RAPING MY CHILDHOOD FROM BEHIND WITH A FORK

Instead of giant robots from space fighting each other, the movies should be about giant robots from space sort of assisting the US military in taking out impotent evil giant robots from space...and their humpy little truck.

In an effort to explore deeper topics, appeal to a more highbrow audience and fish for Oscars, they're going to make Shia's character gay?

Chibibar

They'll just replace her with Miley Cyrus.
Who?
Hannah Montana, Billy Ray's daughter, Disney's latest manufactured pop phenomenon, etc

And Chibi you can't get much worse than these movies in general, so nothing is really wrong for them.
heh. I like her music. Her acting is ok (saw the movie with the wife) I just don't think she is a good fit for Transformer type movie.

I personally like Transformer 2. I guess I watch it with more of open mind and just go with "it is just a movie" instead of trying to link stuff.

It is like Star Wars I with all the "race" reference. I didn't see it until someone mention it.

I don't know why, but I don't find her all that attractive. I'm usually a hound dog for pretty people like Scarlett or Angelina, but Megan Fox just... I dunno.

"Meh."

Hearing she won't be a part of what is almost guaranteed to be an awful movie elicits the same response.

Photoshop is a wonderful thing.
F---!

Okay, gave it another try.
the original is ok, but she gets heavily modified now days.

I think that she just has a perfect face. But she just does not seem to have the personality that conveys sexiness.
