Soliloquy
In a recent Blog Post, Kurtz pretty much says that the peer pressure from moving in with the PA guys is causing him to play more Video Games, which he thinks will, in turn, cause him to make comics about video games.
So, will Kurtz's new social life cause his comics to improve?
I say... maybe?
Kurtz said earlier in the post that the reason for him not doing video game jokes was he stuck to the mantra of "write what you know." Since his free time essentially amounted to "sitting around doing nothing," I think that would explain why his comics in recent years have been about, well... nothing.Luckily, peer pressure is very real. It changes when you get older. It’s less about what clothes you wear and what drugs you should try and more about how you spend your precious free time. When your peer group sits around doing nothing, you do a lot of that. When they tell you to go buy Red Dead Redemption because we’re forming a posse later, you do that.
So, will Kurtz's new social life cause his comics to improve?
I say... maybe?
