Liara broke my heart in ME2.
You may have missed a conversation option. Liara loves you more than ever.

C&P from ME-Wiki:

In Mass Effect: Redemption the Shadow Broker was hired by the Collectors to retrieve Shepard's body and deliver it to them. As Harbinger is talking about the deal to the Shadow Broker, only one voice is responding to the possessed Collector General further hinting that the Shadow Broker is indeed a singular individual. He sent Tazzik, his personal enforcer, to retrieve Shepard's remains from the Blue Suns on Omega, a task at which he succeeded despite interference from Liara T'Soni and Feron. When the two followed Tazzik to the Broker's base on Alingon, they come face-to-face with the Broker, so to speak, as an obscure shadowy figure. Liara talked to him while Feron downloaded all the informing on the Broker's dealings with the Collectors. When asked to why he would sell Shepard to the Collectors, who may be working for the Reapers, the Broker answered that it was simple business. He doesn't believe that the Collectors could gain anything from a corpse. When Liara got close enough to get a good look at the Broker, she finds that it is a just a machine he's communicating through. But before the Broker could alert his men to their presence, Feron had finished downloading and Liara unleashed a powerful display of biotics, disabling the communications in the room. When they attempt to fool Tazzik and the Collector intermediary into thinking the Broker wanted full payment, the Collector General, who was possessing the drone, accused the Broker of treachery. The Broker assured the Collector that Feron doesn't speak for him. Despite the General's warning, Liara is able to escape with Shepard's body, but is forced to leave Feron behind.

Liara confesses that she feels guilty — she understood that Cerberus would use Shepard for their own agenda, but nevertheless gave the Commander's body to the Illusive Man, because she could not let Shepard go. Shepard may choose to calm her by assuring that she did the right thing as the current mission is extremely important. After handing over Shepard's body, Liara remained on Illium, devoted to hunt the Shadow Broker down, although she expresses regret that she cannot come with Shepard.

Basically Liara loved you so much that she rescued your body from the Shadow Broker and the Collectors and gave it to the Illusive Man's Lazarus Project so that you could live again. She has since become violent in her quest for revenge against the Shadow Broker.

It was the way she changed, from the sweet, caring Liara my Shepard came to love in Mass Effect 1 to the cold, calculating killer that she is in Mass Effect 2 that disappointed me. Yes, she was responsible for Shepard's resurrection but in the intervening years she'd let her desire for revenge consume her. At least, that's the impression I got.

Luckily Yeoman Whatsherface was there for rebound nookie and Tali was able to show Shepard how to love again.

I stayed faithful to Liara.

She will be mine again.

Although I was briefly tempted by that smooth drell assassin...

I think he's been getting MUCH better lately. I even think that this will bring him closer to his roots.

You guys are so negative. First you were all like, "He is doing all characters now! I want my game comix!!" and now you're all like, "Meh. Who needs another comic about games?"

Fickle bastards.
The only thing that really chaps my ass about Kurtz is that he pisses and moans about having probably the coolest and easiest fucking job on the planet.
Seriously? I would hate to have his job. Fans of webcomics are fickle obnoxious bastards. Having to pander to them would make me feel more like a whore than my week with Nicholas Cage in Las Vegas.

Dude, have you seen this crowd? He could be a national hero and they could hate him.

"Did you see that Scott Kurtz rescued an entire litter of puppies and several children from a burning orphanage, and then offered to rebuild the orphanage with his own money?"
"Whatever. Today's PvP wasn't funny enough. Kurtz is a douche."

Kurtz (Kurt? Kuntz? what's popular to call him now?) to go back to video game jok

Today's PvP wasn't funny.
That part was true at least.

I'm well past the point of disdain for Kurtz himself. I didn't care for his actions for years regarding the community that followed him but that's all over now. It's in the past. No ill will. We've moved on to bigger and better things.

But the comic... Well that just stopped being funny forever ago. I won't, nay, can't, sit here and rag on it though because I don't know what it's been doing. I stopped reading it. That's the end.

I thought the line should be YESTERDAY'S PvP wasn't funny.

If Scott's always as nice as he appeared to be in the video, there would be very few people hating on him.

TODAY'S is funny as hell!

Kurtz (Kurt? Kuntz? what's popular to call him now?) to go back to video game jok

Those glasses he was wearing really slimmed his face, which made his face look too skinny for the rest of him. (Which, really, I'm complementing his glasses, it just drove me nuts).

Or, wait, is this an ME porn thread now?

Kurtz (Kurt? Kuntz? what's popular to call him now?) to go back to video game jok

you know the funny thing is that after saying he will be doing more video game jokes.... he's been doing jokes about Scott Kurtz.

Conversation about suck buddies, eating thai food etc....
But the suck buddies one was actually funny.
Like I said, Kurtz is funny, PvP is not.

I approve of this thread for the lack of Kuntz content and abundance of wonderful ass shots.

Yeah the suck buddies one was funny.
He should do more strips about the Seattle-settling in experience. They've been his funniest in a while.

Not as funny as PA's, admittedly.

Otherwise, excellent poster. :D

I met Scott nearly two years ago in Austin, at the release event for the WOTLK WoW expansion. We ended up having drinks and talking, and he really is a nice guy. One of the reasons I often stay out of the Kurtz bashing, as I have nothing but respect for him. I bet we would have been great friends if he lived closer to Austin.

As for PA TV in general, it sure makes me wish I was a part of that place. I don't have the spine or the talent to actually work there, but they sure look like my kind of people.

Kurtz (Kurt? Kuntz? what's popular to call him now?) to go back to video game jok

I've met Scott in person, and he seemed like a genuinely nice fellow. He gave my son (who was like 6 at the time) a free Skull plushy.

But man, he sure can come across like a jerk on the internet

Everyone on the internet comes across as a raging douchenozzle now and then, but I know Mangler's had mostly good experiences with SKurtz in person.
