Posting, replying, getting donations, making/voting in polls, rating threads (extra points for rating the Daily Game!) or gambling in the Gameroom.

Hopefully soon we'll have it tied in with playing games in the Arcade also (1st place gets x HalBucks) but they are having trouble with the integration.

Nice, but with the extra 'pe' on the end of "shop", I expected to find more old world goods, like tankards of ale or a goat or something.

Also ... I purchased a user name color just then, and it hasn't been showing up. It asked for a hex code, so I gave it FF8800 (which is supposed to be an orange) but it's not showing up.

Did I do something wrong?

Are you regularly going to overhaul everything and reset it? It's kind of hard to get into something when you dont know how long it is going to last.

No. The only reason I did it this time was because the point system (HalBucks) was all fucked up due to a couple of mods not working well together. It was giving double and quadruple points for things and made everyone's money total go to astronomical levels. For example, I used my account to test everything and I still had over 20,000 HB. What would have happened was when I set the shop up i'd have had to make everything so expensive that new people wouldn't have been able to buy anything.

About the only thing I'm going to reset from this point on will be the Arcade scores about every 6 months. This will encourage people to play. The games still have the all-time high scores so people who beat the all-time score will still have their scores recorded.

Go to the Gameroom & bet everything on a hand of blackjack. Hit until you bust. The system will then give you 100 HB.

Made a few changes to the Shoppe. Before, the gifts were just icons with funny sayings. Now they are that plus they can mean things when you give them to someone else.

Example:

Yes, there are some insulting ones in there, but they tend to be a bit more expensive. And when you send a gift to someone it sends them a PM so no anonymous dickery.

Yes, the bolded parts are always there. But they only really apply when you're sending a message.

Ok, I have a question- If you have 3 gifts and another one gets bought, how is it determined which ones are displayed? Does the most recent purchase knock the earliest purchase off the list?

My only concern is spending a lot of Halbucks and then someone buying something you really don't care about, knocking that expensive item out.

Damn right. I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth. Besides, at the rate I'm getting HalBucks through threads, it wouldn't have been all that long before I had it. :p
