My connection probably changed IP or went down overnight. We were hit with a pretty big thunder storm this morning. I'll check it when I get home tonight though I plan to start creating my campaign and MUST KEEP IT A SECRETS.... MY PRECIOUSSSS PRIVATE MAP!!!!

Jay, I sent you my character sheet via Gmail, but if that's no good I'll post it here... if I can figure out how to do that.
I had everything set up correctly; clicking gametable in the package's unzipped folder would not do anything. The old way worked, packaged way didn't. Would it be okay for me to just use the older folder that I had to replace the gametable file in? Your pogs loaded fine for me there.

I know that GameTable usually comes with a .jar and a .bat. The .bats never did anything for me. Try the .jar?

.jar does nothing. I actually replaced it with one that worked in another Gametable folder and it stopped working in Jay's folder.
I'm going to just drop the pogs elsewhere and work from what worked earlier, so that at least the Gametable will pop up on the screen,

Yep, electricity was knocked out and thus my computer shut down. Anyways, the server is back up. New IP: 174.93.152.107
As far as why it doesn't open Darryl, I don't know. Didn't it work before? I don't get why it doesn't now. I fully tested this on 3 computers and my girlfriend's laptop runs VISTA and it ran WITHOUT any issues. At worst, we can use TeamViewer and I'll fix it myself. One thing is for sure people, make sure to have those pogs/underlays/overlays because if the game starts and people start telling me they see ? I'll get pretty annoyed. I ran a triple session and spammed a bunch of images without any issues at all.

Also, Tyrdin's character sheet. I went for telepathy because I'll get a sustainable daily that's a stronger telekinesis than the psion class talent, and Doom will have Mage Hand, which is essentially the same as the psion class talent.

Hey Gusto, where's that awesome character background? It sounded cool on Vent; you should post so everyone can see and Jay can remember. I think overall Jay has plenty of character material. For connections we seem to have...
- Most of us have probably heard of Falagar in the sense of tavern stories, and maybe a couple of us have heard of him as amazing, and others have heard the truth. I guess we'll each have to roll History or something with Jay. That'll be amusing.
- Helga and Tyrdin both come from lesser noble families, so they've likely heard of each other's families even if they don't know of each other personally.
- Possibly Shawn's changeling is the assassin who helped Tyrdin, but Tyrdin likely wouldn't recognize him unless he becomes the same race and form as that incident.
Maybe there will be more? And Jay says we'll be starting in a tavern, so even if we're not necessarily there together, we should try coming up with reasons we're there and possibly talking or ignoring each other. Perhaps all crowded around to listen to a tale from the infamous Falagar?
Jay said for us to figure this stuff out.

Yeah, but Jay's not going to narrate that right away; he wants us in and interacting in some capacity so he can just get things started with his murder mystery. Falagar is an attention-grabber, so that's my suggestion for gathering us up at the start in some way. Everyone is welcome to make theirs.

Just a note, he probaby wouldn't be so famous that everyone would have heard of him. Maybe someone would have heard a tale of his told by a friend of a friend of this guy who knew a guy who knew the barkeep of this other taven.

Good afternoon gentlemen. Last night, during my dreams I had an epiphany. Today, I have started 3 of your sub-quests and let me tell you... I got shivers up my spine and my brain is working its creative juices at full potential. Let me just say that some of these initial drafts... are awesomesauce. The question is.... when the time will come... which pill will you choose? Be wary though... for it shall have deep consequences... whether to yourself, your companions, family or friends... or god forbid... Icewind Dale's very future. The reprecussions shall be grave indeed.

His father, who I guess I should give a name.. How 'bout Telgar.. Anyway, he wouldn't be uber-famous either. He's obviously had around 13 years to build his name, but it's not like he'd be a legend or anything. Just as people who'd experienced Falagar ("He's the guy who burned down our town!!"), people would probably only recognize him if they'd experienced him ("He's the guy that saved my son from the giant pythons!!"). That kind of thing.
HOWEVER, I'm letting Jay do whatever he wants with the father figure, so he can change any of this if he wants, including the name. I want to be just in the dark about what's happened as Falagar is.
Not terribly famous. Where Falagar tells tall tales that might get spread around by others, it's unlikely that anyone would recognize the name Falagar, except for maybe people in direct contact with him, especially in this land, where it's not likely that the tales would have spread.

Yeah, come to think of it, I don't know much about my character's father other than he's a former adventurer and a fighter. And I also didn't really think out my character's teacher. I don't know his motivation for teaching him, or even exactly how he knew Ratkor wanted to learn magic. You got a point.
