With a soft 'g', I will repeat that cheer.[/QUOTE]Hooray for vag!
I do hope it's clear that that was intentional.

This spanish website ¡Asco de vida! aunque podría ser peor is basically this and, while sometimes it depresses me greatly, for some reason I can't help but checking it every day. Some people must enjoy others embarrassment and discomfort I guess.
In every issue of Cosmo (yes I read cosmo hang me up by my tits) there is a section called confessions where people admit their most embarrassing moments. I can't read it. It is too depressing but apparently some people really enjoy it.
My God man, you've put a name on one of my biggest hangups. My wife takes great amusement in noticing that I find something to take care of out of the room right when shit like that is about to go down. I can't stand watching stuff like that.I've named a social phenomenon that I've encountered countless times after that show, I call it the Raymond Effect...
I've observed and experienced that same effect when watching Curb Your Enthusiasm. The Raymond Effect is why it's so hard for me to watch the first season of the Office.
I also hate this show but for entirely different reasons. I found that Raymond would do something largely innocuous and his wife would just bitch him out for the whole episode. She was constantly pissed off at him. If they were real, they would be divorced, I swear to god, she never once expressed anything but contempt for everything he did and the rest of his (admittedly overbearing and annoying) family. This was supposed to be funny, I guess? I don't even know.I've named a social phenomenon that I've encountered countless times after that show, I call it the Raymond Effect. It happens every time someone does something so awkward and embarrassing that you become embarrassed for them, waaaaay beyond the point of normal sympathy. Raymond would often embarrass himself and then continue to painstakingly dig himself in even further for the next three minutes or so. I can't watch that show at all anymore, I have to change the channel lest I witness an even of unbearable sadness.
The Raymond Effect is why it's so hard for me to watch the first season of the Office.
