Tila Tequila vs. The Juggalos

So it seems that the Insane Clown Posse was having a festival. Someone thought that it would be a good idea to invite Tila Tequila to perform. Not saying anything at all about her or her "act", they just don't seem to be a good fit. Turns out they aren't. When she got on stage, people immediately started pelting her with rock, garbage and feces - which I guess was just laying around. (Not that that really surprises me - they ARE juggalos!)

Tila, being the mental giant that she is, does the only thing she can think of to calm them all down - she removes her top.

All hell breaks loose, but they are calmed for a bit when TOM GREEN comes out & does a silly dance! But when he leaves they attack again. They chase poor topless Tila off the stage and into her trailer, which they proceed to rock back & forth, break the windows out of and generally demolish. Tila escapes into her damaged & beat up SUV and makes it to safety. But she had numerous cuts on her face and body where large stones or other garbage hit her.

Police state that finding the people that did this is going to be very difficult if not impossible.

Here's my whole point. Who the hell thought this was going to be a good mix? I'm not a Tila fan, but this was a murderous mob hellbent on her destruction. If the cops were on the ball they would not allow this "event" to happen ever again. Apparently, even the ICP KNEW this was going to happen...and did nothing.

At first when I started reading this I thought it was funny but the more I think about it the more I think Tila is perfectly within her rights to sue the shit out of the festival, the organizers and the ICP.

But my final thought comes from the CNN.com comments section. Normally a bunch of racist, political extremist assholes, this guy shined forth with a gem of wisdom:

Juggalos are notorious for fucking with people onstage. Mc chris went before a Juggalo audience once and endured countless beer bottles hurled at his ass until he 'won them over'.

I can't think of the last time I saw a Juggalo that was not a heinous POS. Why would anyone want to court those assholes as fans?

I was thinking the same thing. Someone should have walled the place off and dropped a few bombs. Society as a whole would have been better for it.

I think ICP is garbage, and their fans are maggots. I recognize the name Tila Tequila from a Robot Chicken sketch, some sort of celebstitute, right? And I loathe Tom Green.

This "event" was possibly the worst thing I've heard of that was supposed to be entertainment.

That's only in New York City that people can't cover their faces, and it was due to the KKK, not 9/11. But either way, this took place in Illinois.

I saw people from my high school talking on Facebook about going to "The Gathering"... I would not be sad if a bomb was dropped on the place with them there.

I am ashamed to admit that I listened to ICP back in 6th or 7th grade. My grandpa gave me so much shit for it and said how horrible they were and looking back man my grandpa was never wrong :p

Hell, I live in a small town of 20,000 and there are several walking around at any time. I don't think their husbands let them drive. They don't wear the face covering, but keep hair and neck covered.

When they are not ALLOWED to walk up and down the street by their family, they might as well keep their faces covered.

Some places you can cover your face, some places you can't. It's not specifically to Muslim women; it's everybody. Different areas in the U.S. have different laws. I know a lot of Europeans don't understand that due to the regional size differences between the U.S. and Europe, but where this took place is hundreds of miles from where I mentioned there being face-covering laws. It's not even state-dependent; it can be a difference per county, town, city, etc.

I thought you were trying to say Muslim women were being singled out and that only Muslim women couldn't cover their faces while everyone else was free to do so in places with face-covering laws.

But yeah, you're right; the police said prosecuting those responsible would be almost impossible for just that reason. Even with clear video of the incident, it'd be hard to identify anyone at all.

That's pretty much exactly the case. It's not big enough to be a state thing, let alone federal, but some towns, cities, or counties care about it. So yes, you can walk a street, into one town, put a mask on, go further, into another where the law changes, and be asked by a police officer to take it off or be fined/arrested.

Pretend you're a police officer: who exactly are you going to arrest from the anonymous throng of people if you're not already there and viewing the suspect, keeping your eyes on the suspect until you get your hands on that suspect. You could arrest the entire lot of them, but how are you going to prove each one threw which item in a court of law? "Someone threw a bottle." How are you going to prove that person threw a bottle? Which bottle did they throw? It's not just one group or another--it's difficult to prosecute individuals in any mob/riot unless an officer sees that individual and can identify that individual, and get them arrested before they ducked into a crowd of similarly-masked/face-covered individuals, even if they assault a police officer.

Private function on private land, their gatherings is akin to a costume party for thugs.

If a Juggalo walks into a bank in full costume, trouble will arise.
If a Juggalo walks into a school in full costume, trouble will arise.
If a Juggalo walks into a restaurant in full costume, trouble will arise.
If a Juggalo walks into a airport in full costume, trouble will arise.
If they are out in public, not just driving driving down a country road.

Like I said these laws were mostly past at the turn of the 20th century to fight the Klan. Add Bank and Train Robbers.

The Klan is still permitted to hold their rallies, burn their crosses and wear their masks on private land at private functions. But once they try that crap on Main Street, they will be going to jail.

Unless they get a permit. I have seen the KKK parade through a town near where I used to live and basically there was nothing anyone could do about it. Just like Westboro Baptist Church's protests. They unfortunately have the right to be there.

They did what happens at a lot of concerts (except maybe turned up to 11 if you know what I mean), throw shit on stage, etc. When you have a huge crowd it's VERY hard to "catch" anyone, mask or no mask.

Yes, they assaulted her, and look at a change for the ordinances that affect The Gatherings.

Just like the Woodstock Reunion 11 years back, after all hell broke loose, there were no more Woodstock Reunions. I doubt the cops made many arrests that time either (7), because it is difficult to single perpetrators out of a riot. Whether or not they have their faces painted.

I saw this a day or two ago. My friend posted anlink to TMZ where they had pictures Tila had posted of herself (which all looked like she took them from her webcam because she has no one to take pictures of her for evidence for her ) and there were about 12 photos in the gallery. The gallery before that, which there was a link to, was 26 pictures of Megan Fox's fucked up thumb.

1 Tila Tequila assault pic = ~2 Megan Fox's least sexy body part pics, is what I got from that.
