Rodeo clowns are, indeed, heroic. However, I think they are only clowns in the loosest sense of the word.

I was a member way back in the Image forums days - I used to go by ReturnOfTheUnknownZombie or just TheUnknownZombie. Not much to say - I'm British, in my late 20s, I'm getting married at the end of the month (to another ex-Image forumer - it's where we met). I was/am a member of the KryptonKrew. I enjoy videogames (or I would if my POS laptop would run them, or I could access my Wii) and the usual nerd stuff that internet people like.

I was pointed here after KK reformed, and noticed that a lot of the same posters were around. With the same avatars. And the same politics.

So. Anyway. Hey.

Thanks Dave, on both counts. It's like coming home again. And finding a bunch of squatters have moved in. But that's OK, because they've made bacon sandwiches, and have a spare beanbag for you to sit on.

I'm out of practice with similes.

:( I actually don't really have one... not compared to others I know, anyway. What sort of ceremony are you having, if I can ask? Indoor? Outdoor? Any non-traditional personal touches that you think are cool? Congrats to you, by the way. :)

It's an indoor ceremony, held in a ballroom at the hotel. The ceremony & reception are taking place in the same room, so rather than having rows of benches/chairs with the actual ceremony at the front, we'll be in the middle surrounded by tables.

Due to it being on Halloween and because we love the movie, our invites were in the style of The Nightmare Before Christmas, and our wedding cake toppers are Jack Skellington & Sally figures.

The wife-to-be will be walking down the aisle to:


The post-ceremony music (as we exit) will be:


And we're not entirely sure what the rest of the wedding party & I will enter to. But I'm pressing for this (Gen Specific's suggestion):

Thanks! Obviously I'm a huge fan as well! I find myself watching the series all over again every few months. It's too good! I'm desperately hoping that the entire cast makes it to Emerald City ComiCon next year as only half of them made it this year. Booo
