I think it's due to comfort level. When he's dong PvP, he's aware he's doing it specifically for an audience, and all that entails. When he does stuff like PAX or back when he was running his WoW guild, he played himself, as if he were solely among friends (which he was), and the crowd is there for him. So he's a funny fucker in person when he doesn't have time to consider or second-guess how he comes across, but whenever he does PvP, he probably consciously tones down ideas for "consumption".I really don't understand how Scott Kurtz can be SO GORRAM FUNNY while his comic is... not.
