Now you know in this forum all women have the same interest and abilities of all men.[/QUOTE]

Not in Jay-world. In Jay-world, women are hopelessly incompetent at any sort of technical or mechanical task, and are only interested in cooking, cleaning, and caring for a husband, having insufficient intellects to do more with their lives. Concepts like comic books and cartoons are beyond the women of Jay-world.

Now, I'm impressed that anyone did this. It's a really cool job there. Pointing out "And it's a woman!" makes you a chauvinist ass, not that it's a surprise to anyone.

I guess I'm an ass too because I'm surprised a woman did this?

Still, very impressive work... nice attention to detail with the paint job... especially in the engine bay. Most people never bother to strip the whole bay down and paint it but she did and my hat is off to her.

TOTALLY TUBULAR DUDE!

Was I surprised a woman managed to do that? Yep.
Was I surprised a woman loved TNMT THAT much? Yep.
Was I so much in awe I wanted to share that great find with other people in kudos to such dedication? Yep.
Guess I'm an ass.

Trolling doesn't reflect very well on you Null nor will it change who I am or how I'll post. Good job on turning this thread into the direction it shouldn't be going.

When I think of someone buying a van and modding it to look like the TMNT cartoon van with obsessive accuracy, yeah, I assume dude.

To Null: I'll take outrageous assumptions of character motivations for $400, Alex!

I think I took his initial post a little different than you, Null. I read it as, "A girl loved TMNT so much she changed her van to the TMNTmobile?!? I'm in LOVE!"

Man. People really think the worst of people sometimes, don't they?

Assuming Jay's being an asshole is right 99.9% of the time, and I'm still not convinced I was wrong here.

What part of no personal attacks is difficult for you? Jay didn't do anything wrong. You on the other hand, are.

Well you are the king of rose colored glasses, so...

I'm not surprised a chick did it, that is some awesome artistry right there. But COME ON it should throw pizzas.

Do you guys remember that, the pizza throwing van? I never got it when I was little and I wanted it soooo badly. I keep looking on Ebay and sighing. It's right THERE I just cant afford it yet. I will have that goddamn thing before I die. That and doctor barbie.

aw yeah.

I'm not surprised at all that a woman did the work. But I would be completely lying if I didn't say I was surprised to learn that a woman did it, because I wouldn't have thought that a woman would have those interests. Not in cars--I've known enough women who like working on cars. But in TMNT. It's not sexist or chauvinist. It's 34 years of personal experience as statistically categorized by my brain.

To summarize:
Chauvinist: A woman can't do it.
Personal experience based extrapolation: A woman wouldn't typically do it.

There's the heart of it!
