Philosopher B.

Tarantino is the fuckin' bomb. Personally, I don't think he's ever had a misstep, but if I were to rank his work, I would do so thusly:

1) Pulp Fiction
2) Reservoir Dogs
3) Inglourious Basterds
4) Kill Bill Vol. 1
5) Kill Bill Vol. 2
6) Death Proof
7) Jackie Brown

So, how would YOU rank 'em? C'mon, peeps, lay it on me. I can take it.

1) Reservoir Dogs
2) Pulp Fiction (this was a tough one, and while it is a very close call, I enjoyed RD just a bit more)
3) Kill Bill vol. 1
4) Inglorious Basterds
5) Kill Bill vol. 2
6) Death Proof (this one didn't sit well with me. It was just a little too ridiculous - and not in the good way like IB)

Haven't seen Jackie Brown, but I plan to remedy that when I can.

Depends on what you mean? What he's produced? Directed? Written? Well a "loose" list would probably go:

1: From Dusk Till Dawn
2: Pulp Fiction
3: Resevoir Dogs
4: Kill Bill Vol 1
5: Inglorious Bastards
6: Kill Bill Vol 2
7: Death Proof
8: Jackie Brown

With special mention of his writing of the story of Natural Born Killers and his segment in Sin City. Also looking forward to Kill Bill 3.

Stuff I've seen?

1. Resevoir Dogs
2. Pulp Fiction
3. Kill Bill Vol 1
4. Kill Bill Vol 2
5. Death Proof
6 From Dusk Till Dawn

Haven't seen the other stuff, though I also enjoyed 4 Rooms, of which he wrote the last story.

1) Inglorious Basterds
2) Pulp Fiction
3) Reservoir Dogs
4) Death Proof
5) Jackie Brown
6) Kill Bill Vol 2
7) Kill Bill Vol 1

lol @ no one liking Death Proof and everyone putting Kill Bill 2 over 1

1. Pulp Fiction
2. Kill Bill Vol. 2
3. Death Proof
4. Inglorious Basterds
5. Kill Bill Vol. 1
6. From Dusk Till Dawn
7. Reservoir Dogs

1 and 2 were easy. 3, 4, and 5 could probably be rearranged given my mood.

They're all good movies. Never seen Jackie Brown.

lol @ no one liking Death Proof and everyone putting Kill Bill 2 over 1
Of course, I have to be a jerk and point out that everyone before you put Kill Bill 1 over 2. :p

I haven't seen enough Tarantino yet (I've still never seen Reservoir Dogs, Jackie Brown or Death Proof)
But I will say
1) Pulp Fiction
2)Inglorious Basterds.
3)Kill Bill Vol 1
4)Kill Bill Vol 2

Charlie not reading other posts in a topic? Never!

I'll watch through the whole Kill Bill vol. 1 and the first hour and a half of Kill Bill vol. 2 just to build for that incredible last half hour.

Vol 1 was a better action movie.
Vol 2 was a better movie.

That's just how I view it.

I wonder how Vol 3, currently filming, will fit in there.

Not really a Tarantino fan. He feels like a B-movie director who is somehow given the budget and praise of a top class director.

I wouldn't actually say that's too far off the mark though, but that's what is awesome about his movies. They have a very B-movie feel, while giving you the visuals and dialogue of a top notch film.

Heck, Pulp Fiction you straight up what it is in the title. Doesn't mean we can't appreciate it. And Death Proof is meant to be a grindhouse film, thus why it was a part of Grindhouse.

He proves a film can be fun, overly violent, and actually still have a good solid story. Not many seem to do that. Even fewer manage to write dialogue half as well.

Now, if I met him in real life, I'd probably get sick of him right-quick. He's a little too obnoxious whenever I see him in interviews and the like.

Aren't Kill Bill Vol 1. and 2. supposed to be considered one big movie?
I thought so, and that Tarantino just didn't want to have to cut it down to one 2-3 hour movie, so he cut it into two parts.

The parts are distinctly different, the first being more of a homage to martial arts movies, the second being more classic Tarantino style dialogue with a little spaghetti western tossed in.

Reservoir Dogs
Pulp Fiction
Natural Born Killers (he wrote it)
KB1
KB2
From Dusk Till Dawn
Inglorious Basterds
Death Proof
Jackie Brown

1. Reservoir Dogs - I place it here mostly because it was the first introduction to Tarantino's dialogue style. It was like this film came down from outer-space.
2. Inglorious Basterds
3. Pulp-Fiction
4. Kill Bill 1
5. Kill Bill 2

From Dusk Till Dawn - I do not consider this one of his movies.
Natural Born Killers - Have not seen it, nor do I consider it his movie.
Jackie Brown - Never got around to seeing it.
Death Proof - the grind-house project did not interest me.

1. Pulp Fiction
2. Inglorious Basterds
3. Jackie Brown
4. Reservoir Dogs - i'd probably rate it higher if i this was some sort of official film critic thing, but i guess "stuck in a warehouse+flashbacks of talking" isn't really my thing.

Teh rest are fun films that i can't really arrange in a list.

Pulp Fiction
Inglourious Basterds
Reservoir Dogs
Kill Bill 2
Kill Bill

have not seen jackie brown and did not like death proof at all.

It was supposed to be one long movie, but once it kind of evolved into two movies from Q and the producers' perspective, he made them two distinct and different movies.
