Tomato soup with pieces of American cheese in it. Like makare, I used to have this as part of a school lunch. We'd get the bowl of soup with crackers and little blocks of cheese. So I'd throw the cheese in the soup. I can't imagine it any other way.
I used to LOVE this as a kid before my Adult Onset Lactose Intolerance kicked in. I miss it terribly. -frown-

Pizza + Doritios. I know, it makes no sense. Just go with it.
You reminded me of one of my favorites. We called it the "Dorito Sandwich". Perfectly normal sandwich (Turkey Breast, Lettuce, Tomato, Bread, Mustard) but with Doritos lined inside instead of cheese. We'd smash em so they'd be crumbly and in every bite of the sandwich. Again, something I miss now with my condition.

One of my wife's favorite meals is: Roasted chicken, sharp cheddar cheese, pickles, hard bread, and a tart fruit (usually grapes). It is a very specific combination!

Holy crap, that sounds delicious!

meatloaf with a hardboiled egg baked in with it.

No this makes perfect sense to me. My dad used to make this snack for us that was Doritos, pizza sauce and mozzarella, layered not mixed together. Just pop it in the oven until the cheese melts. NOM NOM NOM!

Grilled cheese with tomato soup to dip it in.

Corn pancakes. That's a regular pancake, with corn in it. I'm pretty sure they actually suck, but we ate them when I was a kid, so now I occasionally crave them.

It is! I certainly don't mind when her "overly specific cravings" kicks in.

I have a weird one similar to that. Your wife might like it. I take three kinds of cheese: American, sharp white cheddar, and swiss; cut them up into cubes or squares (depending on the cheese) and then make a sort of platter with chipped ham, Ritz crackers, AND grapes.

I don't know why but cheese and grapes (especially sharp cheddar) is the greatest combo ever!

While I haven't tried it, I'm going to go ahead and call you a dirty liar. I would eat a shoe dipped in peanut butter.

cheese and peanut butter
mayo on a hotdog
ranch on pizza
sour cream instead of mayo on a burger (especially if you add sriracha to the sour cream)

makare

I'm sticking with just ketchup on my burgers from now on. I had a mt olympus burger or something at Red Robin... gah that was awful.

I bet peanut butter on burgers would be bad too >.>

Ranch on sandwiches

I'll agree on the Ranch on a pizza, but only veggie pizzas.

I can't get enough creamy horseradish on burgers/sandwiches.

My family makes this sandwich-
deli ham
pepperoni
provelone
ranch dressing (peppered ranch is best)
grilled on sour dough.

it is sooo good.
also good on that dark brown bread I cant remember the name of right now but the bread is a little over powering.

You just reminded me of something wonderful. (ninja'ed - Hylian)

The Elvis Special. a grilled peanut butter and banana sandwich.

I actually had that one time and while I think the place I had it at did not make it the best way possible it was decent. But it is definitely not something I would eat more than once in a blue moon.

I used to eat PB and banana sandwiches, as well as PB and mayo (well, okay, Miracle Whip, but still! ). Good stuff.

And Peanut Butter on a burger sounds SO cash. I will have to try that, one day

Minor one for me - scrambled eggs with ketchup on top - no idea how I got started on it, but I don't eat scrambled eggs without ketchup on top anymore.

I have done ranch on my baked potato and enjoyed it but my favorite topping for baked potatoes is still sour cream and butter (and of course cheese, bacon, green onions, and black pepper)

Rye?

Also, we did peanut butter & banana (no frying) and peanut butter & raisin sandwiches when I was young. The raisins were not as good, but still quite edible.

makare

Well I'll confess to being an incredibly picky eater which is something I get teased for quite a bit off in the "real world".
