I posted something recently about a friend of mine being an asshole. Well, it happened again with a different friend. However, despite all of that, it reminded me of something great. After turning to my siblings for support, I got to spend all afternoon and all night thinking about how so many people would love to have a truly great friendship with their siblings. I have that, and no matter what happens with the other people in my life, they will always be there. I am so lucky. Now, after a long talk with my brother, I remember who I am (as cheesy as that sounds). A couple of years ago, I never would have put up with this bullshit. There are plenty of people I can rely on without having to deal with assholes, so I can do whatever needs to be done to make life all right again. Yay family.

since ive spent so much time bitching about my coworkers i figured i should say when good things happen to. I have been so hungry for kuchen the last few weeks and my mom hasn't made it. Today one of the camp hosts brought me a piece. mmm heaven!!

We received at work today, with no cover sheet, no header/footer information with a return fax number, a faxed TPS Report Cover Sheet complete with Initech Logo letterhead.

My daughter just turned one, had a successful birthday party, and is currently walking everywhere, unassisted!

This man speaks the truth. Jet is two now and he can climb EVERYWHERE.
In order to pay for my impending move to Los Angeles, I closed out my mutual fund and withdrew all the money (paying for post-graduation moving expenses being one of the primary reasons for starting this account). Well I went to my broker's today to pick up the check and it had $2,000 more in it than I was expecting. WOO-HOO!
It kind of worries me that this page gets neglected enough to fall off the first page.
Anyway.
I just saw Wicked at the theatre. Amazing. The set design, the lighting, the actors/singers... All of it made for an incredible spectacle. There was one fellow whose voice was somewhat underpowered, but this one of the best musicals I've had the pleasure of seeing. Just phenomenal.
