Well Dave looking all fatherly and provide calm and good natured advice. Basically a pun from our 1-2 punch in most advice threads.

I'll get it all gussied up for you later. Can't promise it'll be tomorrow though, I might have what I think might be a date(?) tomorrow, or that might be Wednesday. Its a weird situation.

Didn't get as much done to it as I wanted to, its only slightly more cleaned up from yesterday. But, you can PLAINLY see a difference in the clean up line between Gusto (which I cleaned up first) and Allen (which I cleaned up last). I think I'm getting back into the groove of working on this tiny tablet again.

Not-sure-if-date is tomorrow, so I probably won't post a drawing tomorrow night. But on Thursday, I'll return with an attempt at Jay & Dave.

This is all for tonight. I'm EXHAUSTED from being out late cause last night's still-not-sure-if-that-was-a-date-but-I-think-so. Thing.

Tomorrow I'm heading up north to the parent's place, so that I can sell t-shirts at a fundraiser for my nephew's medical costs on Saturday. So I won't have access to the tablet again until Monday.

Hey guys,
Sorry about this, but I'm sick as a dog right now. My brother-in-law, my nephew, and my mom were all sick when I went home for the weekend, and I seem to have brought back a nasty cold with me thanks to one of them. Probably the nephew. I did spend all day Sunday hanging out with him. So anyway, I'm sipping ginger tea here, beginning to nod off from the Nyquil I took. I'm not even going to attempt to finish up that drawing tonight cause I expect to be asleep within the hour whether I will it or no. If I'm feeling like this in the morning I'm not going into work either though, so I might be able to get a whole lot done tomorrow inbetween naps if that's the case.

To say I fell off the wagon there is a bit of an understatement. For a few days I had reason, I was incredibly sick. Then I started dating this girl and that was weird and didn't go anywhere, but it ate up my free time for a few weeks. Since then I haven't had much of an excuse. But I'm starting this up again, dagnabbit.

Have you posted any existing art of this character before? I don't think I've ever seen it. I'm going to try and get something done tomorrow, sorry if it doesn't match your character as you envisioned him.
Also, the description reminds me of a friend's character, Nash- a Film Noir Crocodile. You should check out some of his drawings.

Just sketching in my sketchbook tonight. Armadillo's are one of those things where you're like "Oh sure, I know what an armadillo looks like" "What do their faces look like agai- oh, not at all like what I drew."

Opened up the Dilbert psd tonight and worked on it a bit, but honestly I'm happier with the rough sketch. Not sure what the next one will be.
