[Movies] Talk about the last movie you saw 2: Electric Threadaloo

Paul Giamatti rules. If you like Paul Giamatti and indie comics, American Splendor is an amazing film. Hell, I don't know shit about comics and it was still an amazing film.

Side-ways was when I first discovered my entertainment with Paul Giamantti. I had seen him in plenty of film before, but that's the one where I really started appreciating him.

It's a shame you turned your brain off. Shoot 'Em Up is awesome satire and a live-action cartoon, and an incredibly fun movie with goofy comedic performances by half the cast.

I didn't literally turn my brain off. I got what they were going for. At least, I think I did. It still doesn't stop it from being funny and stupid as all high hell.

I don't think I'll ever be able to watch Dear Zachary. The whole...'climatic' crazy person solution that went down happened not 10 minutes drive from my parents house. Tragic, tragic, tragic.

Dear Redbox, can I have my free code back? I think there was some kind of mistake. I agreed to rent a movie, not 2 painful hours of unfunny sophomoric drivel, full of middle school humor and pull-my-finger style jokes.

The Lion King 3D- I was a bit underwhelmed by the 3D, but I was kind of expecting to be anyway. 3D is not the reason I went to see it. I went to see it because its badass. I'm glad they didn't include that horrible "Morning Report" song from the most recent DVD release. I shudder to think about suffering through that in 3D with Surround Sound.

R.E.D.- This was exactly what I expected. I need to pick this up on DVD now. Seriously, can Bruce Willis EVER disappoint?

You don't like the Fifth Element? I love that movie!

I'll give you Whole Ten Yards and Cop Out though. Although I blame those on Mathew Perry and Tracey Morgan, respectively.

Sorry, but I have an intense distaste of Milla Jovovich... mainly because she plays the exact same character in nearly every film shes in: Shallow, Uninteresting Action Heroine. Mainly because her husband keeps casting her into those roles.

Maybe I'd be less upset if her character hadn't hijacked the Resident Evil movies for utterly insane reasons.

You might want to watch Stone. And while I get what you are saying about the RE movies, but her character in the 5th element is all about being interesting IMO. In fact the mystery and craziness of her is kind of a big part of the movie/story.

That pretty much tells me that you just disregard her completely because of it which is a shame because she's one of the few action heroines that kick some major ass on screen. Messenger, Resident Evil, Ultraviolet, Fifth Element. Whether they were good movies or not, she was the ultimate in female badassery.
