Ive seen the maps where it is just showing the US and it has the continental states and then alaska and hawaii off by themselves. Not in their geographical location but just off to the side.

I dont know I havent seen A Walk to Remember.
Maps like this: http://i.infopls.com/images/states_imgmap.gif are not uncommon. I mean, I agree, he ought to be more aware, but there are maps that could be misinterpreted.

I think its pretty obvious how they came into thinking that. But as common as those maps are, their teachers never clarified it for them? They never saw any other maps of the US? They never saw a WORLD MAP? Or a globe?

My friends' plan for New Years Eve is to go to Nathan Phillips Square for fireworks (Thats the scaled-down-for-Toronto equivalent of the New York Times Square New Years Eve party). This is exactly how I feel about it. But my friend I usually spend New Years Eve drinking and playing Katamari Damacy with is on a snomobiling trip.
There's a big difference between hating fun and hating overhyped New Years bashes.
Actually I was rebutting Pez's pic, sorry for any misunderstanding.
I've seen both versions unofficially pop up online but biblically perseveres fits better with the intention of the passage being synonymous with 'enduring' not 'jams'.

Hmm I think of preserves as kind of an enduring thing too. I don't know what the best translation would be I don't even know what language it was originally in.
