One thing I'm finding common to all these F2P games is horrible UI. Good gravy, the menus and interaction on these things are awful. Cluttered, unintuitive, disorganized pieces of crap. Button choices seem almost random for how to use some of these menus.

The Rusty Hearts achievement isn't that hard, but I don't like the game. The controls feel stiff to me and there are much better 3rd person action games out there.

Plus, your first level is in the sewers... and you're proud of this? No... just, no. Bad game.

I, for some reason, have two copies of The Ship as well as that aformentioned copy of Half Life 2. Let me know if any of you want either.

This.

This game is awful.

I got my achievement and uninstalled from my memory forever.

I got the following coupons:
-50 % Valve
-25 % DeepSilver
-25 % Codemasters
-33 % Driver San Francisco
-50 % Left4Dead 2
-50 % GreedCorp
I'll trade them for pretty much anything but other coupons. Not interested in TF2 or Spiral Knights swag, though.

Similar to the above, I now have 50% coupons for Terraria and Monday Night Combat. If anyone wants them, say the word - I won't be using them.

In case you're not in the mood to play TF2 for 100 years in order to get this achievement (I tried doing it legit and wound up with 1 present after an hour) this guy has a pretty quick and easy way to get the achievement.

That's how I did it, got another coal for it and it only took about 7 minutes. Also this is what I have if anyone is interested. Again the two that say steam gift are both copies of The ship, singleplayer and multiplayer.

I got a steam gift pack containing R.U.S.E(tm) and R.U.S.E, not really sure what the difference is between the two (does it mean two copies of the game?). Doesn't look a whole lot like my kind of game anyway, willing to trade for another

Hey, I'd be interested in R.U.S.E! In addition to the coupons I already mentioned I also have the game Avadon: The Black Fortress up for trade. My Steam handle is 01z, contact me if you are interested.

What the hell do you have to do to win the Drunken Family Argument one? I have the game but have no idea what I have to do.

Never mind. New level. Beat the Christmas level to get it I guess.

I actually got that TF2 one like two weeks back when they updated TF2 for the Smissmass event. Presents are about as rare as candy pails are during the Halloween event, which is to say not very. It's just they get picked up fast because of nature of the game.

Then again, I usually play at least an hour a day, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

I traded my copy of DotA 2 for the Double Fine Pack (Costume Quest & Psychonauts), which was given to my friend as a late Christmas present. I might have been able to get more for it, but I've already got more games than I have time to play and I think my friend will love those.

GODLIKE

Anyone need theese couppons? I need coals for them ----> valve 33% , TellTales games 25 % , Paradox 25 %, Avadon The Black fortress 50%, Lego Batman 50%, Cyan Worlds 50%, Grand Theft Auto 4:Complete 50 % and Audiosurf 50% .

Ha ha ha, no one is gonna trade coal for coupons. Since most if not all of those games are cheaper right now.

Anyways, anyone had any luck with getting the Krampus in Binding of Isaac? I think I've been playing it for over an hour now and no luck.

Yeah, I got lucky and found him in ~40 minutes. The achievement didn't unlock though. There is a fix that works retroactively (it works, so I hope it's not a clever bit of malware). The game records your achievements, but fails to upload them to Steam because of bad coding.

What you're looking for is a "devil room", though how you're supposed to know it's called that, I have no idea. After you defeat a boss, there is a chance that a door will open up in addition to the hole in the floor leading to the next level. Inside the door will be an optional boss, and there is a chance that boss will be the Krampus (who is no pushover.)

I don't like that game. I really don't. It's ugly and intentionally cryptic. It's "storytelling" is ham-fisted and juvenile. I've heard people praising the soundtrack... but both Bastion and Trine 2 blow this game out of the water when it comes to music. Lots of soundtracks are better than this.

EDIT: Oh, and the gamepad "support" in the options is just some text telling you to use Joy2Key. Seriously? That is some major bullshit right there. Being "indie" is not an excuse for laziness.

I combined my coal into a copy of Two Worlds 2. Is this...a good game? Has anyone played it, or know anything about it?

Yeah, I know where he's supposed to appear but fuuuuck. I've found like 13 devil rooms. I'm done. This game isn't fun.

It looks like Super Meat Boy, it sounds like Super Meat Boy, but this ain't Super Meat Boy.

One of the games I got was AI War or something like that. Jesus Christ, this game's UI makes EVE look like Reader Rabbit. It's a mess.

How do people play these games?

I just looked up reviews, apparently it's a revolution in the RTS genre. A revolution in how much meaningless information can be displayed at once.
