Regardless of what else they see you as, how responsible you are for them, how proud they are of you, how much they depend on you, and whether they tell you to your face or not, they will always, always, see you as the child.I had a similar feeling when my mom and grandma were asking me for advice, not on something technology related, but for financial advice that could have a big impact on their well being. That was my oh Im not seen as the child anymore but as an important part of the family with valuable input and responsibilities moment
