I know there's a few wrestling fans on here, and with the Royal Rumble coming up I figured it's worth a Poll.

Honestly I see it playing out several ways, and will be happy regardless as long as they don't give it to Wade Barrett (who I just can't find myself to care).

On Raw this Monday, they mentioned that for the first time ever "every superstar is eligible to enter the Rumble"

I couldn't figure out what that meant... either a) The champions will be in it this year. or b) The divas will be...

Does that sound about right? I always thought every superstar (except the champs) were eligible already...

Psh. The Funkasaurus.

Obviously.
Somebody call his momma!

Someone suggested that "The Cat" Ernest Miller could make an appearance and have a dance-off with Brodus for rights to the entrance theme.

I hope it doesn't happen.

I'd be so torn on whose momma to call.

Well Chyna and Beth Phoenix have both competed in the Rumble before. I could be wrong, but I believe if you were elsewhere in the card you were ineligible for the Rumble.

He hasn't referred to himself as Y2J in a long time. It's just something the fans still chant. As far as him getting old, he's getting up there (41), but he's been injury-free for most of his career and taken time off here and there, so he's in much better shape than a lot of guys.

Someone had a hilarious idea for Jericho to win the Rumble: somehow, the last two guys in the ring wind up eliminating each other. And then Jericho draws #30 and does his over-the-top celebratory shtick again. :D

That would be great. Royal Rumble has always been my favorite PPV. Even with lackluster line ups I still love the countdown. They create some great match ups. I love moments like this:

It has been *years* since I've watched wrestling... (like... 17 or so *oldalert*) but I do remember there being something you had to do to qualify for Royal Rumble. Something like, having qualifying matches or something?

Actually didn't see that winner coming. Glad they didn't go with a predictable outcome, but it didn't seem like there was a lack of their "big names" in the event.

It was definitely an entertaining Rumble though

Man, that PPV sucked up until Punk/Ziggler and the Rumble itself. Some of my favourite highlights:

-Kofi's handstand. Holy crap, that was awesome.
-The announcers each getting in there. Pretty funny.
-The Socko vs. Cobra confrontation. So incredibly silly, but I loved it.
-Ricardo doing his own version of Del Rio's entrance.
-The return of KHARMA! That alone's gonna get me watching again.
-The final stuff between Jericho and Sheamus was pretty great. And I'm okay with Sheamus winning, since I think he's really improved a lot over the last year or two.

I like that Daniel got a clean win, but I think I have to agree with you Nick.

Of course the Rumble was the reason I ordered the PPV, so I can't really complain. Ziggler and Punk always put on good matches against each other.

- I think Ricardo got a bigger reaction than Del Rio.
- The King always surprises me with how well he can still move
- OH YOU DIDN'T KNOW!?
- When the lights dimmed I though/hoped it was going to be the Undertaker instead of Jeritroll
- The Drew McIntyre and Brodus Clay match just seemed odd and out of place. I understand wanting Brodus in the PPV, but you have the Rumble. They should have put him in instead of someone like Alex Riley.
