[Movies] Talk about the last movie you saw 2: Electric Threadaloo

I don't like Cusack.

Then again I love Uwe Boll films and think "Your Highness" is inexplicably amazingly funny. So take that with a grain of glass.

It was neither. It was terrible and not in that "good" kind of terrible.... yet I loved it. I laughed, alot. Which I don't normally do even with good comedies. I don't know what it was, it just struck a very strange cord for me.

See, Troma are B movies, I've seen ALOT of them. They're intetionally low budget but attempt to get their vision across. Much like I enjoy Uwe Boll movies because they're basically the Ed Wood movies of today.

Your Highness was neither. It had every single element of a bad, not funny even on purpose kind of film.... yet it's probably one of my favorite "stupid comedies" now.

If you liked Your Highness then I know how you found this place.

Seriously, though, Hot Tub Time Machine rocks ass. How could you NOT like Motley Lou?

I liked the part where he blew his arms off with a stick of dynamite in the mailbox, and then had to play guitar with artificial arms to make sure his mom and dad kissed at their first dance. But it didn't matter anyway, because the future was already set and Skynet's attempts to kill him in the past were always doomed to fail, so it split off an entire alternative universe full of brightly lit spaceships and lens flare, where he met his past self and for poorly explained reasons, merged into protoplasmic, self-annihilating goo when they touched.

Hey I at least think people should call it a good movie. It's a lot better than most comedies I've seen in the past. Now "Our idiot brother" that is a crappy comedy. I'm just saying I don't wanna waste ninety minutes just for Paul Rudd's family to realise he's not that bad a guy. How did I know the ending without seeing it? THE PLOT IS THAT TRANSPARENT!

I agree with him an awful lot. People seem to like to bag on him just 'cause.

Paul Rudd is one of my celebrity man-crushes, along with Michael Fassbender.

Admittedly I disagree with Charlie probably more than I agree, but I don't understand the full-on hate some members seem to have for him. Just disagreements. I disagree with everyone on SOMETHING. I'm sure we'd get on just fine in real life.

Like I've said before, it's not what charlie says, it's how he says it. He's met with hostility because he presents his opinions as absolute, unbending truth.

So does Shego, but people don't jump all over her for every post.

Peeps gotta realize that opinions are all relative man. The world don't move to the beat of just one drum. What might be good for youuuuuuuuuuuuuu may not be right for some. IT TAKES-Different Strokes to move the world!

I have no idea what brought that on. ANY-who, I saw dis movie called Vampires in Havana recently. It's a foreign animated cartoon and man is it weiiiiiiiiiiiird.

Disagreed again, sir! Elizabeth Banks is pretty muchalways a draw, she and Rashida Jones both definitely do their part in the movie.
Heh, this is probly my brothers most superficial reason for hating this movie. Was Rashida one of the characters in the same-sex relationship? He's got a mad crush on her.

I put smilies and shit, that fool doesn't. That... is why he fails...

No seriously, if you weren't around during Charlie's early days of massive White Knighting of every major cause that noone was actually attacking, his blatant attacks on anyone who was upset to the point of anger against murderers/child molestors, or his days of "Holier than Thou" style of movie reviewing: Then you won't understand why there's an underlying dislike against him and everything he posts. At one point he basically became a cartoon caracture of a poster who puposelly would choose an opposing argument to get people to blow up at him while he took the "Hipster" style attitude of "I don't care, you're dumb cause you like stuff"

He still does it from time to time, though mixed with "real" posts here and there. The problem alot have is that his writing style is so similar between the two, most can't tell when he's openly trolling or openly has a realistic opinion.
