[PC Game] Official TF2/L4D2 Thread!

Hey Dave, I managed to turn Bots on. Here's how I did it in-case it doesn't stick.

1.) Go to Clanforge.
2.) Select Server.
3.) Near the bottom you'll see a button called Live Control.
4.)Click the Current Game tab and make sure it's a supported map.
5.)Click the Console tab.
6.)Enter the commands (tf_bot_quota_mode fill, tf_bot_quota 1) into the Console Actions bar.

This will spawn one bot for every human player on the server, up to the max amount of players.

If you need to adjust the bot difficulty, go to the Console tab again and input tf_bot_difficulty X, where X is the difficulty of the bots. It goes from 0-3 and it starts at 1.

You can do all the in-game admin stuff from the Live Control panel, including kick and ban, and I think this is the only way we can do it ATM.

When I get home I'll log in and do a bit of map hopping. If they show up on all of them (as we have only official maps now) then we'll be cool. Otherwise I'll have to put the data on all of them.

What map did you put this on when you tested?

Oh, and in other news, last night we had 14 people on, going 7x7 on a couple matches. No lags, no worries. I got a message from some people saying it was a great server. Score!

I did pl_hoodoo_final. Remember, they don't work on ALL the official maps. It's still in beta.

I just started playing this game and became completely and utterly addicted. Bots are definitely a must, though, last night Ed and I played a few rounds 1 on 1 and, although fun, definitely not very Teamfortresstwo-ey. Hit me up, I'm calleja42 there.. I think. You must be able to find me via Turbo's profile under "friends".

Ugh... for some reason Steam won't connect to the servers ATM. This means two things.

1.) My inventory can't be accessed right now.

2.) Even if I can get in game, I get kicked soon after by VAC because it can't detect me.

Yeah, they were really, REALLY good. They mentioned that they did podcasts so I wonder who they are.

Jay pulled me in here - annoyingly, I don't know much about how to set up a server myself. BUT! I do know many, many people who could probably help. I'll go bug them when I get the chance.

I just scrapped 2 of my heavy guns for scrap metal because I'm stupid.. luckily it wasn't my main one, but I lost Natascha and that hurt. Don't play with the crafting menu if you're a noob.

Also, on a related note, if anyone has any extra shit for Heavy, Engineer, Sniper or Medic please remember your friendly neighborhood Mex :problemo:
